Eargene does the trick. It takes away the itchiness of your ears. It lasts a long time. It is not oily or thick. It is a bit expensive. But it is a favorite of mine to help my ears feel good. I wear hearing aids all day.

I wear hearing aids and have a tendency to get itchy ears. I use to always take my hearing aids out to scratch my ears and always have a fear of losing my hearing aids. My audiologist recommended using Eargene and it’s been a life saver. When I wake up in the morning I always feel I have wet ears. I carefully dry my ears with a swab being very careful not to go in too far. I then dip a clean swab into the Eargene then gently coat the itchy area of my ears. Once I feel it is dry I can resume wearing my hearing aids. Fortunately I need only one application a day. If I forget to do it first thing in the morning, believe me, my ears will remind me. One bottle will last many months. My only request is the bottle to have an applicator tip so I can easily place a drop of Eargene on the swab and not worry about contaminating the bottle. Great product and well worth the investment!

I have worn earing aids most of my life. Since my hearing is pretty severe, I have to use really big molds, and BTEs. Wearing these aids nearly 24/7 my ears ITCH! I have tried this kinda thing before, and it works well when I use it regularly. Not only does it reduce the itching problem, but my ear molds smell better. Sorry to gross you out, but hey...ya want to know right?

It helps stop itchy ears and has a very pleasant fragrance.

SEEMS TO WORK REAL WELL

Not a bad product but in my opinion, not worthy of all the five star reviews it had when I bought it. I find that the insert for my right hearing aid sometimes causes my ear to tickle a little. That led me to do a search at Amazon to see if I could find a product that might help alleviate the tickle. This is what I ended up with. I apply it with a large tip Johnson and Johnson baby style Q-Tip as their safer than the typical Q-Tip. Sometimes it helps a little bit, sometimes not at all. I'm also uncertain as to why the manufacturer of this product felt compelled to use a yellow dye or food coloring. It's VERY YELLOW and if you're not careful and drip a little could leave an undesirable mark on your clothes. A clear solution, in my opinion, would have been much more desirable.

No more itchy ears! An occasional dab on a Q Tip and you're good to go. I was first introduced to this product through my doctor's office so I know it's trustworthy, at least for me.
