Total waste of money and time.
Total crap. Just not strong enough to be mounted and stay in place properly. I tried every trick in the book to get it to work. I've mounted dozens of scopes and know what I'm doing. Aluminum just isn't going to work on a Mini-30. Maybe it would be OK on a mini-14.

This was easy to install but I have not had a chance to actually see how it does at the range.

Works perfectly so far.
With this adapter I was able to mount a Pulsar Apex XQ38 thermal scope on my Ruger mini-14 Ranch rifle model. Worked perfectly yesterday. This adapter also has a tunnel bored out so you can still use the original open sites with scope mounted.
