Well engineered. - Best penlight-torch I've seen.
The Nextorch "Mini High Output Tactical Penlight - 2 x AAA", is a very well made torch/flashlight. The manufacturing construction can't really be faulted at all.My only reason for giving the torch a 4 and not 5 star rating, is the price. - There are similar, perfectly serviceable and much less expensive torches available, although it has to be said, this torch is probably the best engineered penlight I've seen to date.It is approximately 140mm in length, x 14mm in body diameter, and 16mm at the head.It has a non-recessed, rubberised, circular, and (by necessity), rather small tail-switch, and a strong, well designed pocket-clip. The head has a crenelated bezel which would undoubtedly be able to cause damage if it had to be used in self defence. (NB: It is worth noting that the corner edges of the crenellations are quite sharp, and could, over time, potentially damage the fabric of a pocket, if the torch was regularly pocket-clipped for carrying).Overall, for a torch powered by 2 x AAA batteries, it is certainly very bright at its highest setting, and, for the average user, should provide enough illumination for typical everyday needs. (Caveat - Although it is bright, I certainly wouldn't suggest that it would be suitable as the primary torch for a police officer's on-duty needs!).It has two brightness settings - low and high, along with strobe. There are two distinct modes of operation: -1) - Tactical mode, where only high output is available - either constant "on, or momentary "on", depending on whether you fully depress or only half depress the tail-switch.2) - Duty mode, where low, high, and strobe are all available, again, with either constant "on, or momentary "on", depending on whether you fully depress or only half depress the tail-switch. Note that In Duty mode, successive half-pressing of the tail-switch cycles between low-high-strobe.Changing between the two operational modes is facilitated by holding the body, and rotating just the head of the torch by one complete 360° turn. For anyone needing a suitably sized belt pouch for this rather slim flashlight, I'd highly recommend the Mini Maglite AA pouch: - https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000056BMQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1The Nextorch fits into, and is held in that pouch nice and snugly, with just enough room to adequately hold a typical ball-point pen too.

Tacticool
The Tactical setting allows momentary illumination (and constant). Rare for 2xAAA flashlights. Great if that is a primary user requirement. I like the crenelated bezel. Great styling but on reflection I feel "tactical" is better served by a slightly heavier and more powerful flashlight. In Duty setting always starts in Low, then Medium, then Strobe. I like low first but I would prefer a steady High option before Strobe. Yes that is available in Tactical but requires a head twist. A very common use for 2xAAA flashlights is inspection, often medical inspection. The CRI of this flashlight is poor. Nextorch seem to be so far behind trend on colour tint.So the features may suit some but I prefer the (cheaper) Thrunite.

Great work torch.
Excellent torch for using at work, i use it to see better on the engineering machines i work with. Its size is perfect for holding it in my mouth (don't try this at home) as sometimes you need both hands to work with. Build quality is excellent, battery life not known but for what you need as a work buddy this is perfect.

Fantastic little torch
Great little torch that I carry everyday. It is comfortable in the pocket and its thin size doesn't overly fill my pockets. It came with batteries that have lasted quite a while. I have not had any problems with accidently turning it on.

small size
gift to a paramedic colleague: they need instant light for some emergencies.

Nextorch 215
very slim, easy on the pocket and toolbox, batteries included (good) and a couple of spare ‘O’ ring seals - which I’ll lose before needing one...! robust construction, and for goodness sake, don’t look into the full power beam....! just the job for peering into dark machinery spaces..
