Kule'a Farm's traditional kava is an all-natural soothing and calming beverage powder made from the roots of the kava plant (Piper Methysticum); once the roots are harvested they are sun dried and ground into powder, nothing is added or taken away. We import the whole dry kava to Hawaii where it is ground and packaged, that way we know exactly what goes into your kava powder. Our kava is grown on the islands of Fiji, Hawaii, Vanuatu and Papua New Guinea. Packaged in resealable plastic bags. To prepare kava we recommend you place the kava powder into a strainer bag and mix with water; this is the way it is done in the Polynesian Islands of the S. Pacific today.

Know that you are receiving one small coconut shell cup if you order this product
From the pictures, I thought that I would be receiving two cups and possibly even two cup holders. I also thought the cups would be bigger. Based on my incorrect expectations, I think this product is okay. For $11, I expected more than one small cup. The coconut shell cup is very neat though. With a small amount of tea, the cup does stand up on its own. The way the cup looks and feels is very genuine. I received it earlier than expected too. I just believe the seller should describe the cup more and perhaps have pictures of the cup next to other objects. Overall, it was not quite what I expected, but a neat addition to a kava tea set

Kava cups:)
I honestly can't complain about the quality of these cups I've received because it is great and does do what it was intended for!! However the only thing I would have done differently was to buy them in a bigger size if possible!! All in all the shipping was fast, the quality is great and the company is reliable :) I would recommend these traditional cups to anyone looking to enjoy a good mixing cup or to anyone who would appreciate a great peace of art!!

Nicely crafted Kava/Awa cups
These cups are very nice. Well crafted from coconut shells; Sanded smooth to a polish. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because the cup holders, which are listed as being "sold separately," are not available to buy on Amazon, unless you buy the gift set. Without the holders, the cups must be held since they have naturally rounded bottoms and will spill if set down.I'd still recommend them. I will probably try Pier One or World Market or something looking for some woven napkin rings or something like that.

Cool cups
Bring you right back to the Islands and perfect for entertaining. Each is unique and while one of them was significantly smaller than the others, it keeps to the theme for kava. Company (Kule's Farm) also sells a great line of Kava and gets the product to you in a quick period of time. Very happy with the purchase and the products they have sent.
