This deterrent spray has been very useful to keep my cat away from areas where I don't want it to climb, such as the kitchen counter or armchairs. The best thing is that it has no smell or leaves residue, so it doesn't bother people or pets.With only a couple of uses, my cat understood that I should not approach certain areas. It seems to me a very practical solution, safe and without the need for physical punishment.It's a shame it's not available at the moment, because I would definitely buy it again.

I love it because it works. Within one week of setting it up, the cat stopped jumping on the kitchen counter. I know for sure she activated it at least two times. I’m not aware that she encountered it more than that, though it’s possible.On the other hand, it seems to be heat activated instead of motion activated, and we set it off constantly. Because it’s on my kitchen counter we have to move it a lot, and though we quickly move it from behind, it frequently sprays, using the contents of the canister up much more quickly than necessary. I do not like that. I purchased a battery operated version of this product years ago. It only sprayed when it detected motion in front of it. Unfortunately, I had to keep replacing batteries, and that is why I was excited to purchase this rechargeable version. My old battery operated canister still has more than half the contents in it today where the rechargeable version canister was used up in about a month.When this product sprays, it has a distinct fragrance. Not exactly air freshener, but not unpleasant. I want to believe the fragrance in the air reminds the cat not to jump on the counter. It’s been empty for about a week now, and we still place it in position on the counter and as far as I know the cat has not returned to jumping up there. I certainly don’t want to be buying refills every month.

Exactly what we needed. Our one cat LOVES to get into our window but she destroyed our blinds and we were sick of it. So we bought this neat little gadget and it's kept her away. I will warn you the product when it goes off does have a scent. Other than that the top of the sprayer is rechargeable with a USB type C

This worked initially, but when I tried to put a refill in, it just sprayed out the bottom. I called Amazon to get a replacement, and was told the item was non-returnable, even though it was defective. DO NOT BUY!! This is very expensive and very cheaply made.

The media could not be loaded. The spray is loud and the travels a good distance. Tried everything else to keep my mischievous cat off the counters but nothing worked - well worth it!

It works on me, not sure about the cats. It was a bit confusing and tricky to attach the sprayer to the can. It sprayed several times while doing it. A lot of sprays are wasted for this reason, and it sprays every time you press the button to turn it on. I keep forgetting about it and it sprays on me whenever I walk past it. I have not seen it work on the cats yet, unless it happens when I am not around. They seem to just ignore it.
