Neat and bright light plus you get two for the price. This is working well as the replacement for a fluorescent tube fitting in my loft.The lights come with a short trailing lead so you'll generally a junction box of some description.

Excellent lighting and value for money and very easy installation

I divided a very large bedroom into 2 and subsequently lost a ceiling light. Theses two are ideal for me. Dirt cheap at twenty five quid - for two - which is normally the price for 1 other. They feel a little delicate....but as im wall mounting that's not an issue at all.light wise, they are very bright. over 100w normal bulb certainly just having one on. absolutely fills the room with light (the 180 degree curved surface I guess?) .work on the basis of it being a100+watt bulb and you cant go wrong.as others have said, comes with a handy connector block that attaches to the 2 wires coming from the unit and then to a cable (that you supply - screwfix do a very reasonable 10m length for £7.50). Ive not bothered with a switch - just a cable / plug. works for me. May get an inline switch at some point.a manufacturing fault seems to be cable/connector management. The units have deep grooves either side to accommodate two mounting brackets. if they were a bit bigger to accommodate the connector this would have been ideal. as it is, the unit has a short cable - maybe 10com max....so once the connector is on, you have a hideous looking lump that cant be hidden away anywhere.

I was replacing a fluorescent tube fitting to reduce the amount of electric usage so bought these two batten lights. I was worried the light might be dim, but it's even brighter the the fluro' and it comes on straight away and it only uses 20 watts. It's a win, win, win.

What a great pair of lights. Bright white light is excellent. Fitting was really easy too. My only gripe is that the supplied cable could be longer with a slight cutout on the unit to allow for flush mounting. Very happy and would recommend them.

I`ve just put both of the lights in my new 8ft x 6ft shed - the result is great no dark spots / easy to read any instructions.will replace the old lighting in my other shed soon.
