If you want a Batman story that feels smart, layered, and genuinely engaging, this is absolutely worth picking up. It's an incredibly interesting mystery to watch unfold with excellent art at every page. You get a good explanation of each character if you aren't familiar, and a taste of some of Batman's rouges gallery in some issues. The Compact Comic edition is also excellent. $10 for one of the best Batman stories is a steal. Compared to the other Compacts, I believe this is the thickest of them all with over 350 pages. Gutter loss is also not too bad, didn't need to stretch the spine much to read long panels. As with most desertcart books/comics you will need to be wary of some of the packaging methods, the book does not come in shrink-wrap to keep pages together so the paperback cover or some pages can get folded or bent. Luckily haven't had that issue pop up too often, but it is certainly possible.

Great size and great price
One of my favorite Batman stories. The size of these is great, a lot easier to carry around, and you can't beat the $10 price tag. I hope they make tons more classic DC comics like this. This would be a great introduction for someone who has never read a comic book before.

Arrived Fast & In Perfect Condition — Great Gift for a Batman Fan
This Batman: The Long Halloween compact edition arrived quickly and in perfect condition, which is exactly what you hope for when ordering books. My son hasn’t finished reading it yet, but he was really happy to get it for Christmas — this was one he’d really been wanting. So far, no complaints at all. Great price, fast shipping, and a happy Batman fan in the house.

One of the best Batman stories in a more travel access form
Batman: The Long Halloween has always been one of my favorite Batman stories. Now that it is out in travel book form. Makes it a great book to carry for travel and vacations. Highly recommend. This book does not disappoint. Well-written by Jeph Loeb and art by Tim Sale.

Great classic
It lives up to the hype. Such a great comic I was hooked from start to finish. The artwork is amazing and the book introduces a lot of Batman’s rouges gallery. Can really recommend, it came on time and in great condition.

Great Comic!
One of the darkest and most fleshed out DC stories I’ve ever read! Definitely recommend if you love Batman. The price of these DC Compact editions is just amazing as well!
