Very cute projects to try. For a beginner’s book it was good but very basic, only covering very basics on baking, glossing, types of gloss, glue, liquid clay, etc. it mentions a lot but fails to give very much explanation or information on the things it mentions. Not very thorough explanations for a beginner Still a very cute project book.

easy to follow
full color, easy to follow instruction with photographs for each step along with variation ideas. Easy enough for my 9 year old, 12 year old, and myself (36) to follow. Some great hints and tips at the beginning as well, and not overwhelming. This is a great book for someone who wants to try sculpting.

Not for beginners.
It’s not really for beginners. I had a degree in ceramics and it wasn’t hard but it was definitely not easy. I got this for my daughter and she got very frustrated with how difficult it was for her. She is 10.

Good book for beginners
This is a good book for beginners - very easy to follow. Although I wish there were more examples yo follow. There are only less than 10 for every category.
