Great support
This chair is very comfortable. Gives the support for my back that I need. I highly recommend it!

Easy assembly great 1st impressions with comfort short height persons
I just put mine together and in my opinion, it really is best for a small height person (5'8" and shorter). I read the instructions but also found a great video of someone's experience putting his together that helped me see the overall path to assembly. YT Shainu "Staples Hyken Chair Assembly". I wil have to come back and give an update but it is cozy and better than my old style one that felt like it was drilling directly into my spine. As for rolling around on carpet, it's not bad with my low cut carpet. But I plan on DIYing a plywood sheet later. For now, it's not a pain moving around.

Chair is ok
Good chair so far, but did arrive slightly damaged. Plastic broken on seat. Packing was bad loose parts were just flying around a huge box. No real effect to sitting so I won't send it back. No missing parts. Armrests are a bit hard.

Quality as soon as you open the box
Ok, I believe a chair review should have 2 areas for review. The fist one when you assemble, and initial thoughts, then a second to say now that I have used it for xxxx long do I still like it. SO here is part 1:Part 1: Assembly and initial thoughts:I have put together quite a few chairs in my time, and most you have to interpret the instructions. Well folks, this one was amazingly well packed, each page of build has the screws separated per bag and different color lock-tight on it. It went together like a solid well planned chair "should" have. The chair feels very sturdy like a product from the 60's where you know this will last. From floor to highest setting the seat cushion measures 23". This chair is very comfy, but what is important to me is support as I have back issues. Rest assured the neck and lumbar support is great. I sit upright and I have full support across my neck and back. So fare so good. I would say I am a huge chair snob, as I walk into the stores and try chairs that are thousands and say there is no support. I am trilled with this chair. I know I sound like a commercial but so many products are trash, it is nice to actually have a quality product.

Liked so much we bought more
This our third purchase of this chair. One for each of us. Telework and online school keep us in front of computers all day. These chairs give just enough support and comfort.Like high back so neck and head easily supported when stretching back in contemplative thought.

Be careful of purchasing
After 2 months this great chair started leaking in the hydraulic lift system. Every 20 minutes I have to get out and re-raise the chair which is now causing me significant back pain. My colleague with the same chair does not have this issue so I do not know if it is a one-off or a design flaw. I am having difficulty reaching resolution with Staples, who is the fulfillment warranty holder.

Chair is fine but the headrest is another matter
Chair arrived well packaged with easy to assemble instructions, but was a little awkward to assemble without someone else to help hold the various pieces. Once assembled the chair seemed sturdy and was comfortable, with the exception of the head rest, which projects out over the seat back. Now at 6'1", I'm not a super tall person and yet when I sat on the chair, the head rest would hit me right in shoulders, which was in no way pleasant. There is no way of sliding the head rest to a higher position like what is typically available on the front seats of cars or to push it back so that it doesn't protrude in front of the seat back, so finally I just had to remove it, leaving me with a now comfortable chair, but alas with no head rest.
