6 month review: I'm bumping this up a star. They can go in the dishwasher, top shelf. I'm sure the maker is worried about water absorption, but it's not a big deal. The tube did split, so I taped it so it doesn't break in two. Even with that, the cost and durability makes this a pretty good product. Even if the whole set was to be replaced every year, (which it won't), it would be worth it. Especially with non stick pans.They are hand wash only. Strike 1 They can't soak in water Strike 2. They look really nice on my counter, and so far have worked well. Afraid to use the tongs, as they are really thin. Might be okay for shrimp. For 2 bucks a utensil, I guess they are okay. Hence the 3 stars. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed.

These spoons are just OK. They're designed well, the handles are surprisingly well angled, it has a variety of utensils, and a nice container, but they're still made of bamboo - a very porous wood prone to splintering. They get a little softer when used in boiling water, and when cleaned the cut edges start to splinter and tear off pieces of sponge, and there is no way around this.I recommend getting beech or olive spoons instead, or another similar kind of wood. They're much more durable and don't splinter.

I bought these for myself because #treatyoself, and it was an AWESOME gift. The utensils are strong and wash very easily, I always hand wash just because they are bamboo so they don't need to sit in any kid of water for long. I haven't had any issues with "peeling" or the bamboo flaking; I read some mixed reviews before I purchased my set and was skeptical, BUT if you take care of them like they were meant to be taken care of you shouldn't have any issues. They look great, and don't take up much space, overall AWESOME self gift.

I bought some new pots and pans and figured it was only fitting that i buy new utensils since these are cheap. They are nice and I use them all the time. They aren't the highest of quality, the tongs will barely pick up a 1/2lb chicken breast but that's ok they were cheap and they look good.

I gave these to my then-fiance when he moved into his new apartment. Good for starting out in a new place. However, because they are bamboo they are not dishwasher safe, so they need to be washed by hand and have small holes that can be tough to clean. Also, they may stain over time depending on what you cook. I made a strawberry sauce and now the spoon used is permanently tinted pink, which however is not a big deal overall. Recommend if you are just starting out and need cheap cooking utensils.

I was happy with the product so far but was disappointed with the holder I gave it as a gift and it was cracked when it was opened and after 1 day out of the box the crack worsened and another happened on the opposite side. Other than that the utensils themselves are fine.

Love this set even though the slatted spoon came splintered. Don’t really use that one anyway so not a big deal for me. Quality of the rest was great. Love that this set came with tongs. Perfect for cooking with ceramic.

Love this set for my new pots and pans. I did notice some splintering of some of them but it hasn’t been an issue. I love how easy they are to clean.
