This is a great starting point for working on your privet pilots cert. It definitely gives you a focus point on what specifically to study out of the FAR/AIM material. You wont be able to memorize the question answers because the actually FAA exam will have separate question with separate answers. However the material is spot on and the foot notes give greate focus points on where to really focus your studying.

I just completed Private Pilot Ground School and used the ASA Prep Book for the entire class. It is laid out really well and I really liked the cliff notes before each set of questions. I found this book to be an excellent way to study and it prepared me very well for the final test.

This manual is an excellent prep guide. I scored a 92, and would have scored even higher if I weren't such an idiot. The examples for calculating weight and balance, wind correction, using the E6B, etc. are very straightforward and a real help. You also get 5 practice tests with the purchase. You can't go wrong with this book.

The book is a helpful tool that has questions w answers. Its doesn't have enough detail or depth for me though.

Excellent study guide! It comes with actual test booklet. As a result of using this tool I passed my Private Pilot FAA Knowledge Test with flying colors...I strongly recommend to any student pilot!

Good study tool but does not have enough information to substitute for textbooks or other ground school

Great information but many of the practice questions refer to figures or charts that either do not match or are not in the book.
