HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281CDW - All-in-One Wireless Printer for Home Laser Printer - White (Renewed)

Took me less than 5 minutes to set up. It has everything! Wireless printing from my android phone and iPad, duplex printing, an auto document feeder for scanning and copying, and crisp, perfect color laser documents. Plus, it's not a huge piece of machinery that takes up a lot of space. I couldn't be more pleased!

After years of using Brother printers, I went with this because it looked like a good value for the money. Nope! 14 months later it comes up with a "supply problem". No specifics, just generally it can't remember anything about the cartridges, so I decided to just give in and replace them after trying a few different diagnostic things. Thought that would fix it, but nope! Still there. Can't clear it, and the POS will not print if it can't read the memory for some reason (because HP toner is a scam that's why). So I decided to cut my losses and chucked that piece of crap in the trash. I'll get another brother printer and NEVER going with HP ever again.

Just got it today so obviously not a long term review. Setup was a snap on both laptop and cellphones. Good quality printing, Scanning and copying, didn't try the fax yet, other reviewers stated bad prints on pictures but looks just fine to me. ADDED BONUS.....It comes with FULL toner cartridges. HP Registration online was easy. I'm happy with this purchase...

The product look was very nice and easy to move around. The quality of the print was also nice. Lot of option to Print, WIFI, USB, LAN and Pendrive. The Package I received was damaged looked like open but the part where there but there was no way to complain. It's a great product but the default ink is like a demo, so less papers.

I love that it is wireless.

Purchased two of these printers and just outside of the 90 day warranty window one of them failed. When dealing with a higher end product like this and with organizations that should have more integrity around what they sell and do I cannot in good conscience leave a good review. The unit died completely and will not even power back on and we have done troubleshooting to a great extent and nothing is going to get it running short of a replacement which is what we requested and in simple terms they said not our problem go work with HP. I will be sure not to buy from CTGINC for any product ever again.

This product was a certified refurbished printer and although it didn't come in the original carton, the packing was exceptionally good, and probably better than the original. There is no way I could tell from the condition of the printer that it wasn't new. There were no setup instructions included, but I didn't find them necessary. Genuine HP cartridges were already installed. I should mention that I already had a M281fdw in another location, so that may have made the install easier. The printer I received as actually a M281cdw, but they are basically the same machine.The price is pretty steep, but that is because HP no longer makes this model and has replaced it with the M283FDW. The newer version doesn't appear to have any performance improvements over the one I got, and although I could have gotten the new model slightly cheaper, the real cost of a printer is the supplies and the new model uses cartridges with chips that make it difficult to get third party replacement cartridges. A set of high capacity cartridges for the M283 is about $400, while I can get third party high capacity cartridges for the M281 for less than $60.

This unit prints with blue lines on the edge of paper. Cant seem to get rid of them. Secondly it goes to sleep all the time then doesnt want to print when I tell it to. It doesnt come out of sleep mode. It is constantly dioing this. So I have reset my WIFI on the printer have it search blah,blah blah. PITA. Anyway. I dont print very often thats why I got a laser printer because ink would dry up in the other ones and ruin them. So Im stuck with it. In fairness, its a refurb unit...but seriously!
