18 Authentic Fresh Belgian Liege Waffles (Vacuum Sealed)

These are excellent and very large liege waffles. You can't argue with taste. I'd previously ordered the liege waffles from Julian's; they are both good and to be honest the waffle in my mouth is always the best. These are larger that Julian's with very generous amount of pearl sugar crunchiness to them.Why 3 stars? Horrific packing and shipping. All 18 waffles ship in one non-resealable vacuum bag. This is fine if you are having a party and will serve them all at once. However, if you want one, you have to dismantle the bag and repackage the rest of the waffles. My waffles were very wet in the bag; it was 60 degrees in my state but per the tracking it looks like these sat in a hot post office in NC maybe a bit too long. To top it off, the vacuum bag was stuffed into a single walled priority mail box that looked to have been stepped on and squashed repeatedly. There was minimal protection for the contents and they suffered as a result.As good as these are, I'd opt for Julian's in the future for the individually packaged waffles. These waffles from Cast Iron Waffles were so badly packed that I'd take the superior Julian's packaging any day.

I am from Belgium and have never found really good Liege waffles anywhere in the US. So my hopes were initially not too high when I ordered a pack from Cast Iron. Turned out I was very wrong. These are the real deal! Perfect! They taste just like the ones that you buy on the street in Belgium. Right density and right pearl sugar. Do not listen to reviewers who write that the waffles were not fully cooked -- that is dumb, a Liege waffle is supposed to be like that. If you think all waffles should be like Eggos that come out of the toaster, don't come here saying that the Cast Iron waffles are no good. Just say then that you don't like authentic Liege waffles.Again, 5 stars and perfect. Will order another pack of 18 very soon.

I was thrilled to find a large pack of these so I didn't have to buy them at Jamba Juice everyday! My kids are crazy about these waffles and we rarely had them because the closest JJ isn't very near our home. PROS: First, the waffles are very large and very tasty! Second, I was happy for the free shipping! CONS: First, The vacuum sealed pack has three layers packed together, so they stick together and are tough to pull apart without breaking. Second, the listing stated these were only shipped Mon-Thur so they wouldn't sit around waiting for delivery over the weekend. However, I purchased these on Thursday and they shipped on Friday...delivered on Tuesday. Other than these couple of items, I'm very happy with the purchase and will most likely purchase again in the near future!

I purchased this as a gift for my parents. I went off the reviews hoping they would be the waffles we used to be able to purchase at Sam's Club. My father is from Belgium so he is very picky about his Belgium waffles! :).This arrived at their door on there 64th Wedding Anniversary. I couldn't have planned it any better. They had their friends stopping by and they found the box on the porch. Right away they heated the oven and all had a waffle. My parents couldn't wait to call and thank me for the wonderfully delicious waffles. I was told they were quite large, heavy, and heated in 6 minutes in the oven and were the best waffles they had in years.I am already planning on sending them more for Christmas.

These are excellent Liege waffles, yeasty and not too sweet despite the delicious crunch of the caramelized sugar bits in them.It's difficult to package and ship fresh baked goods in an effective manner, but Cast Iron Waffles' method of cooking, immediately vacuum sealing, and shipping is as effective a method as I've even seen. Waffles arrive only slightly worse for wear and regain much of their enthusiasm upon warming. The waffles also freeze very well.

Too heavy and sweet!!

If you're looking for Liège waffles in the US, which I have been for 20 years, these are the ones to get!

Ever since I discovered these delicious waffles I have had one for breakfast everyday. They are perfect when toasted. I will continue to buy and send some as gifts this Christmas-2018.
