Sardinia Map [Italy] (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3309)

Overall, this is a useful map that folds easily and stands up well to every day use thanks to its material (a kind of laminated paper?). It was perfectly functional for road trips around Sardinia. I did miss more detailed maps of the centers of the major cities on the island-on my recent trip, I drove through Alghero and Sassari and was forced to navigate both cities by my general sense of direction and limited road signs. Especially in Sassari, arriving in the city on one major road and trying to leave via another proved to be somewhat nerve-wracking without the guidance of a map. To avoid this, it may pay to pair this map with a guide book that features city-level maps.

"National Geographic" is definitely a fine marque, but do not expect to use this map while driving or even riding in a car. If you plan to use it in a shower, it'll brighten your day. The plastic coating is so heavy you can't handle it or fold it with ease. And the print is so fine that even a good magnifying glass is not enough.

Very nice map with lots of detail and lasting quality.

We are preparing for a trip to Sardinia and we plan to drive, so a map is indespensable since gps's are expensive to rent.

We were trying to find some "off the beaten path " locations and this map was a great tool, indeed.

Saved Us Multiple Times During Our Trip!!!

My husband and I recently did a 16 day driving tour around Italy and this was great to have to give you the big picture that our phones can’t do. Highly recommend for a Sardinian vacation!

Cette carte indéchirable et waterproof de la Sardaigne recense au maximum les points d'intérêt culturel et naturel de la Sardaigne. Cette île regorge de curiosités préhistoriques, d'églises, de grottes et autres points d'intér^t, qu'il est difficile de listé en intégralité. cette carte s'y emploie, même si la richesse dépasse ce simple inventaire. Mais c'est déjà un point de départ important (et très riche déjà) pour les principaux et secondaires.Je m'en sert depuis un moment pour mes virées dans cette île dont je ne ferai jamais le tour il me semble, tant elle regorge de choses à voir.

Carte inutile tout est ecrit tres petit, les villes importantes ne sont pas en avant tout est a la même echelleles lieux de visite sont aussi tres petits et pas mis en avant bref a éviter malgré les autres commentaires positifs que je ne comprend pas du toutla petite carte donnée avec la location de voiture etait plus complete et plus utile
