Material looks great. Saddle is a great improvement. Nut is unusable because the spacing between strings is smaller than my guitar and two other martins i have compared it to. The width of the nut is perfect, but the string spacing is too narrow. Super bummer. I wish/hope they will read this and send me a replacement nut that isnt too narrow.***UPDATE***After my initial review above, they contacted me right away to let me know a new nut was being made and sent out. It arrived and as promised is perfect this time around. String spacing and sizing is just right. I am very happy with my purchase now. Thank you fir taking the initiative to make this right.

These fit perfectly on my Martin D-16GT (I think the slotting issues mentioned on a couple of the other reviews have since been fixed) and really provide a nice looking upgrade. To my ears, the sustain has been improved, but it's extremely difficult to quantify. The fact that the saddle is wave compensated should help with weird tunings, but I haven't been any more adventurous than open D, which does sound lovely. I was just about to buy another set for my Dad's old Takamine acoustic, and decided to write a review since I think the star rating is really low for the quality of these.

Great material and craftsmanship, but very disappointed to learn they do not fit my Martin 000-18, as advertised, and as others have described. The nut width is great, but the string spacing is too narrow and unusable for this guitar. The saddle length is great, but it is too thick and does not fit into the standard belly bridge slot.And perhaps more disappointing, I've sent 2 emails to the seller within the past week describing this issue and have yet to receive a response.

They won't work for WHAT I need them for

The product looks very well made and the material seems to be actual bone, the bad thing is that I wasn't able to use them since the bridge saddle doesn't fit my guitar (Martin DX1KAE). Nevertheless, there's no point to give them a bad rating because of that.

Much like others have said, the nut width is perfect, but the string spacing is too narrow for Martins that have a 1 3/4 inch width at the nut. The material appears to be good solid bone.The saddle was a bit too thick for the slot, but with some sanding, it fits great. Action was just a few thousandths high for my taste, but the intonation is perfect and the sound quality is noticeable. Hoping to hear back from the seller about the string spacing being too narrow. Once resolved, this review will be updated.
