Best Way To Install The Rod
Great shower rod when installed correctly. I always install blocking in the wall before drywalling. Then when I install the shower rod I always find the location I want, then mark a plumb line with a level. Then I place the bracket in location and mark the holes. Then I always place top hole on the inside of the plumb line (side towards the shower) and the bottom hole on the outside (Side away from the shower). This allows the shower rod to be slightly higher in the center, but over time will sag down to level. If not done this way your shower curtain will be low in the middle and cause the curtain to open from the ends when showering allowing water to run out. If installing on a wall without blocking I will alway drill my holes for my anchors, after locating the holes as above, then fill the wall void with "Big Gap" spray foam and then install my anchors. This adds extra support and strength to the wall. You still should never hang on a shower curtain or shower rod or damage to the wall or rod may happen. Now, I put these in my rental apartments and we always get great remarks from the tenants how well the curtain is attached and how much bigger the shower feels with theses rods installed.

Well crafted, attractive
Installed this in a large walk-in shower, and it works perfectly, stopping occasional errant sprays from our hand held shower head effectively. Installation in general is straight forward - Drill holes, use wall anchors or screw into studs. My installation required some care as it was through very hard ceramic tile, but boy does the tile and underlying cement board hold the anchors well. Finish on the tube is excellent, and very good on the end brackets - some roughness around the edge of the sockets and slight imperfections in the surface drop my rating from 5 to 4 stars. Structurally the brackets are very sound. This is a one piece curved rod, which I chose for the smooth appearance compared to 2 piece/slide adjustable rods. One can adjust the length by a total of about 2 inches by inserting the rod deeper or less deep into the brackets. If necessary, one could CAREFULLY trim the rod - making sure the cut is perpendicular and not angled. I did this in another installation successfully but as stated great accuracy in both measurement and making a square cut is required to have a satisfactory installation. I recommend this product.

Great upgrade!
It took two people to install, maybe others could do it with one. But we're very happy - got rid of old crusty shower doors and went with tall (near ceiling) shower curtains. Feels roomy and clean - good purchase!

They work. They look nice. Should be durable. SS so no rust. Length is some what adjustable.
They work. They look nice. Should be durable. SS so no rust. Length is some what adjustable in two ways. The end brackets allow you to slide the tube in or out a bit and since they are curved they really do not have to be mounted square to the wall so this can change the length a bit. I installed two. In one case they are mounted at the same position relative to the tub at both ends. In the second, a window frame intruded into the area a bit and so I was able to install at the faucet end in a pretty much conventional location and at the far end of the tub I could move the bracket in over the tub to avoid the window and keep the spray off of the window frame. Both worked out nicely.

Not quality and watch for shipping charges
Though others have said this is a quality curtain rod, I disagree it is very thin walled and marginal for quality. Also beware shipping costs will be incurred this is not an Amazon prime sale

Nice
This is a nice stainless rod and the brackets are all stainless too. I'm pleased with the quality and it was worth a few dollars more than the cheaper (made) ones that are available

One piece shower rod
Was looking for a one piece shower rod. The ringless shower curtain slides very easily and doesn't bind up which can happen with a telescoping shower rod. This was just what I wanted. I wished they had a choice of the brushed finish, however this looks fine.
