I know the songs and the tunes; they jump into me and in one glance I am mentally singing with the happy tune coming from my heart. WOW ! I am glad. Page after page of happiness. At last I have all the words. The songs are rather crammed in to be contained. But there is no extraneous detail. All in all, my Kindle has gained value, at what I now consider a " small " investment.

We are using this book for the lyrics to old time favorite songs for a family party. I would recommend this book if you are looking for old time favorites.

I bought this for my husband who has a great singing voice—knows the melodies but not all the words. This is a good selection for him.This is a book of lyrics, no melodies. We are very pleased with this book.

The songs were so old I hadn’t even heard of most of them. This book is not most loved aongs

A wonderful collection of song lyrics. I flip through this sometimes to get ideas for writing my own songs. These guys were masters at the art of lyricism. I'd recommend for anyone who writes songs or who just loves music.

I was disappointed with the small print. It was difficult for my 92 year-old mother to read. Many of the songs were "off the wall stuff" that I never heard of. At best, maybe 100 of the songs were recognizable to me and fun to sing. I did like that it had page numbers and an index.

A thoroughly rewarding collection of well-known and not so well-known lyrics fromsongs over many years. Essential for any lyricist or singer of songs! The book isnicely produced in a convenient size at a fair price.

Full of wonderful old songs from all over the world. A volume of sheer entertainment!

There are a few gems in here but this is mostly lousy poetry from the 1800s and early 1900s.Way too much filler and it even contains poems/lyrics in languages other than English. I would recommend finding a different collection of poems and lyrics.

Have not stopped singing ! More than acceptable.
