I purchased this mic to be able to clip it onto people when doing field interviews for local news. I was instantly impressed! It has good clean audio and looks good too. I also like the little drawstring bag that it stores in. I plan on buying a second one as a spare.

People on video conference calls say that it's a huge improvement over my Logitech C510's built-in mic. I no longer have to speak in my outdoor voice. :) I've used it with Zoom, Teams, Wire, and GoToMeeting.The mic looks professional, and the clip is black metal and grips tightly. Hasn't damaged any shirts. The cord is a little thin, so I'm careful with it.Note that I have an Asus XONAR soundcard, which has a good mic preamp. I'm not sure how I would fare with a cheaper/integrated sound chip. Sound level might be low in that case.

Actually, this lapel microphone did not work for the application I bought it for, which was to help with voice dictation. But when I hooked it up to my phone and used it to record a vocal and instrumental performance, I was delighted with the quality of sound I was able to pick up. So, while it wasn't the right mic for my needs, it's a really nice lapel microphone for other purposes, so I give it the five stars it deserves and won't fault it for my not buying the right microphone for my specific need.

My deaf daughter is using this mic with speech-to-text software to see what people are saying. The software works best when the mic is close to the speaker, so it's easy for her to plug this mic in and hand it to someone trying to communicate with her. Works great!

Used this to relay audio for an outdoor seminar and it worked great with all 3 listed phones.Didn't pick up wind noise at all (1 day was very windy) and clothing noise also wasn't a problem.Mic easily picked up the speakers voice as well as the person he was talking to.

Day one and the item works incredibly well. The plan is to use this for lecture recordings, and in my tests it works splendidly. I found the windscreen did not make much of a difference in recording quality but your results may vary.

I really had doubts that it would work. I was demonstrating a process in my art studio while shooting video with my phone clamped to a desk. I hoped for usable sound from the lapel mike. It was more than usable, it was great!
