Waking the old beast from slumber
Woke my zune 120 up from its several years Slumber. Give it about 10minutes of being plugged in to charge the battery before you see Any activity. Original cord had developed a break, and no longer functioned. Expecting similar length of service from this one! Charges and syncs as expected.Good quality, slight logo design change from the original I purchased almost 10 years ago.Will work on Windows10, just synched a full load of music!

This cable is not a oem cable as pictured. It is a aftermarket cable. You do not get what is shown.

Broke my Zune and wasted my money
Attempted to charge my sister's old Zune for my son. It started to charge, things looked okay even though it was only intermittently charging, and then all of a sudden, the side of the Zune cracked open. After a little research, I discovered that it was because the battery pack inside the Zune basically shorted out and puffed/blew up. (Not an explosion). The battery is now worthless and it is likely due to this charger. I could try purchasing a used battery on ebay, but I wouldn't trust this charger again. My son is sad after visions of being like Star Lord at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. I guess we'll have to find another music player for him because this charger was a waste of money. Good luck to anyone who tries to buy it.

Good product purchased it for a 1st gen Zune i bought for 5 bucks.
For 1st gen Zune. Bought the Zune at a sale for 5 bucks. Microsoft's rock solid MP3 player. Able to clear and update software and Firmware through this cable. And upload a ton of music in to this 30g 1st gen unit. Bought 2 of these cables.

Just What I Was Looking For!
I have a Zune, that I love, even if everyone is puzzled ( I also own a Ipod )Unfortunately, due to a burgalery at my job, my Zune cable up and vanished, along with every cord in the building. I mean, WHY steal a cord for a music player that isn't even in the building?unfortunately for me, by the time I got around to looking for a cord, no one was selling them!One day I was on Amazon, looking for a CD, when it struck me to type in " Zune Power Cord"I ordered a couple of them, and they are working great! I haven't had a problem. It charges by player just fine. I can use it in the USB of my computer or my wall charger. I haven't had any problems with things breaking or heating up.I am very happy I found these.

It's a cable!
What can i say about a cable. It works as it should :)I tend to watch A LOT of TV shows/movies/podcasts at work (it tend to get little slow around vacation time). As we all know zune will go through a battery supply in about 3 hrs of continues video play thus the dilemma arouse. I was thinking of going to a retailer to buy this cable but unfortunately all the retailers only sell bundles like car charger bundle etc... I just needed a cable, that's it..After looking around i found this little retailer on amazon.com. Not only that he is local (didn't even charge me for shipping) but also cheap. I know there are some adds for even cheaper cable (in a range of 2-3 $) but i wasn't sure if those weren't for the version 1 zune (usb 1.0).All in all I combined this cable with a RadioShack USB charger and thus i don't even need a computer at work.

The Zune Lives On
When my son was crawling around in the front of my car and stepped on the zune cable (braking it), I thought it was the end of an era. The original Zune was discontinued by Microsoft about the time I got used to using it. So I expected I would have no luck finding a replacement cable. To my delight, Amazon not only had the cable, but they had an OEM (NOS, as it were) part.I received the cable, charged up my white 30 GB digital media device, and started jamming to my favorite audiobooks/music once more.Best $5.39 I've spent in a long time!

Reliable and Compatible
I bought this because I lost the original sync cable that came with my Zune. My zune is a 2006 or 2007 I believe. I do not sue it anymore. I actually gave it to my grandma so that she could listen to music when she was at the doctor receiving dialysis treatments. Of course, I have to sync and download her music for her. She sometimes can't even figure out how to power it on and off. She still enjoys being able to listen to the radio and her favorite music on it. The cable was compatible with my zune. I had no problems with it.
