It's a rather nice model piece, but it'd be even better if it was fully complete and easier to put the hard bits together. They resist assembly the whole way and the only reason it looks great is because most of the grip is covered by solid parts that holds well if you can put together at least 80% of the grip.Hardest part of putting this thing together is... Putting it together. Some of the parts didn't fit together properly, all of mine were in the grip of where they have to line up and the imperfections from pieces stopped me from putting it together. So prepare to put some force and watch for if they fly. It might cause irritation trying to force them together as the plastic doesn't feel the same grade as other plastics I've handled, though I have no real complaints since its likely from trying to force parts with my bare hands rather than chemical issues.It can still function without a grip, the main components are in the top half. Only complaint there is the top is too tight so it'd need some grease to slide forward properly and feel easier to use.It functions with a basic spring-tension mechanism using springs, and isn't very strong, but this is a toy, it says its an educational toy on the suppressor. That's why its not very strong but has a range of at least 15 feet. That's why it's a rather small gun, but not too small. My pinky hangs off but no use problems.It uses BBs. The ones that are supplied are about 9 black ones. Compared to a different BB like Crossport, they're ever so slightly bigger, and not as smooth. The Crosssport BBs seem to go faster, giving me the idea that the ones they use aren't ideal for shooting. Its basically a water gun that shoots plastic balls.Overall, its great if you want to have a cheap functional gun model, especially one you can paint, not that the glossy black is bad, I suggest it. But you'll need the brains to put the parts together, the brawns to force them correctly, the patience to construct the whole thing, and the forgiveness for any imperfections because it looks lovely, then I wholeheartedly suggest it.

My 10 year old had fun with this gun. I had to put it together, and he wore it out! Fun!
