Unique grip
This has s a very interesting concept in a grip. I bought it because I have issues with my wrist. I thought this might help. It does somewhat, but not quite enough. The felt recoil is diminished a little but I need to try perhaps a longer standard grip on my J Frame revolvers. This is no reflection on this grip. It is very nicely made. It does help with felt recoil and interestingly enough it helps with point-ability of the gun. I gave it 4 stars in the accuracy department, not 5, only because the grip seems to help you get on point faster but my accuracy really wasn’t improved much. Because if my wrist issue I really couldn’t shoot enough to see my accuracy improve. It sure did not diminish my accuracy, that is for sure. This grip is a little wider than the stock 442 boot grips and it makes the gun longer, if you are concerned about concealing the gun. The shape does help with breaking up the standard outline of the handgun for concealability.I would definitely give this grip a try. It is unique and interesting. You may find that you really like it.

Magic sauce
The cure for Speer Gold Dots in an Air weight S&W. My 442 does not hurt to shoot anymore even with my carry ammo(Speer Gold Dot). Shot today and boy let me tell you the difference between this an the factory grip is daylight and dark. I have big ole grape ape hands and I can get three finger on this grip and the grips mitigate the recoil and flip even with +P Speer Gold Dot. Fit is not great - gaps between grips and frame but I will use black RTV Permatex silicone to cure that. Very happy with these grips.

Worst grip ever.
Wow, this grip makes my gun uncontrollable. (S&W J-frame, 340PD)Even with 38 special this grip is bad.It is bad under recoil, and it is bad for general handling. I have normal sized hands (bigger than Trump's, but not so big as to be odd either.) and these made it difficult to hold my gun. My S.O. (small hands) has no hope. I even let a competitive shooter try it out, he hated them too. Told me that there is absolutely no way to hold the gun correctly with this grip.Buy a Hogue grip and be happy.

A odd grip
Bought the Ergo on a whim.First thing, it does wonders to break up the 'gun' outline. I tried to get used to it but couldn't. The width of the grip was too thin, I couldt secure my fingers against the grip. the grip feel is also something to get used to.I really wanted to like the Ergo, I just couldnt get a good hand grip with it. I went back to my Hogue.BTW: after a few months pocket carry, the grip screw head was rusting.

It helps
This thing is ugly but for me it is awesome. I tried several other grips to control my 642, but arthritis and the small size of the revolver had me only shooting it for a few rounds before putting it away from pain and numbness. The delta grip allows me to shoot a lot longer and helps control the gun much better. The grip is probably only going to work for you if your hand can grip it right and if you need something (as another reviewer said) to tame a beast. I removed one star due to a slight gap at the front that won't close.

They are great for lightweight J Frames
These grips may not be for everybody, a buddy recommended them and I put them on my standard .3 8J frame. They were OK, but then I put them on my lightweight J frame 357 Magnum and decided to put a few magnum loads through it. For the first time since owning the gun, which has been about 20 years I was able to put multiple cylinders of magnum loads through the gun without any major discomfort. These grips will be staying on that gun forever for the first time I can with relative comfort, shoot magnum loads out of it.

Not for me
I've been shooting J frames for decades and decided to try this. Maybe I'm just too used to shooting J frames with the old fashion grips, but this grip didn't do a thing for me. Some say it makes the J frame's shooting position feel more like a Glock's, but I did not see this when I did a side by side comparison. When I grabbed the pistol with this grip, my hand didn't naturally fall into the correct position with this grip like it has with my conventional grips. I had to fidget some to get my fingers aligned with the grip's grooves. The grip is not bad, but I just didn't see the value of relearning my J frame shooting grip. I do have large hands and this grip may work better if you have small hands.

Wonderful
I thought this look very awkward in photos but I read some reviews and thought to try it.I’m so glad I did. Makes for easy handling and for increased recoil absorption. Which on a J-Frame model is a plus.Surprisingly, it still works well as a conceal carry due to the sharp angle. The angle which makes this product unique for its ergonomics.Highly recommend.
