DecoArtADC-02 Americana Chalky Finish Paint, 8-Ounce, Lace

I bought this for a project a couple of years ago and when another project arose, I bought it again. I'm pleased to share that it was the same quality and the same great product that I purchased before.

I enjoyed using the Americana chalk paint but would also recommend the Folk Art chalk paint they sell at Walmart. I've gotten many bottles and it's not clumped together like the Americana chalk paint was. I think the Folk Art goes on surfaces much better.

Love it great coverage true matte finish

Easy to use, and I only needed a coat or two to cover natural wood completely. I did end up needing about 3 8oz jars and 1 16 oz jar to cover my entire dresser, and then another 16 oz jar to cover up parts that had yellowed from the matte sealer of the same brand (don't use it, trust me). Otherwise, I liked this paint. The only downside is that it is textured, even after its covered with a seal, so if you're looking for a flat or matte look, this wouldn't be the best paint to use.

The delivery was fine, package was not damaged at all - but the paint can inside package was not sealed. Paint inside box and down side of bottle. I've never had an issue with products ordered before - but this could have been a disaster.

It's just what you need to paint.

It goes on great but when painting something dark you will need more than you think to cover your project. I recommend buying a size up so you don't have to go back to get more!

This paint is so creamy and has good coverage. It didn't need stirring when I opened the container. I painted a shelving unit with it, let it dry 24 hours before lightly sanding it and then waxed it with Americana Creme Wax (using a painting rag). This was my first painting project and it turned out beautiful.I added a 'before' pic of the ugly yellow shelving unit and another pic after painting it with the Lace Chalk paint.

Was enough to paint and distress 2 smaller end tables which is what i bought it for.I like the product.

As described, just what I wanted. I haven't used it yet but I assume it will be the same as the decor paint that used to be available locally.
