Mountain Mist Polyester Quilt Batting, Twin Size 72"X90"

This is just what I have been looking for. Our Joann's no longer carries Mountain Mist medium loft which I have been using for years - this is great! I am happy to find it again.

Twin size quilt

As a quilter, i have strong opinions about batting and polyester is not something i use in my quilts. This batting was used to pad cornices i made as window treatments, and for that purpose, it's great. For quilts, i'll stick with natural fibres.

I used this batting for a simple scrap quilt that I made for my own use on my bed.As other reviewers have said this batting is on the thin side but my quilt is so soft and ‘floppy’...just the way I prefer them (I don’t like stiff quilts).After using it all winter I have also found that it is warm without being heavy. I live in the northeast and I like my bedroom on the cool side.This quilt/batting wasn’t able to be used alone, it was layered with another blanket or two, depending on the temps, but it was definitely warmer than other battings I’ve used in other quilts that I’ve used.I’m very happy with this batting and will use it again.

While you would not necessarily use a thick batting, I was trying to filter dirty pond water. Doubled, not much was stopped. An unusual project for batting so maybe not fair.

Used to help clear out the algae in my pond. Works like a charm.

I bought this to use for taking photos to lay on the floor. It's big enough and soft enough and works great. It's just slightly on the thin side so I could see the color of the floor underneath it some. But was able to work around it. Other than that it's great.

Read it makes a great filter for a small pond. It filters the water perfectly. Thanks for the great product.

This worked up nicely to make 2 baby quilts.

This is a perfect thin batting for a quilt. It is airy and is very easy to work with.
