False Advertising--Does not meet ASTM F 2040 Certification
The Bern Kid's Nino (and Nina-I ordered one of those, too), looks good and fits securely and comfortably and is very, very lightweight. HOWEVER, it does not have ASTM F 2040 Certification (protection for skateboarding and snow sports) as stated in the description, only CPSC Certification for bicycling. To Whom It May Concern: Amazon or Bern (as well as many other helmet products I've searched on Amazon lately), Please quit copying a template to all your different products instead of only listing what each model has. It's annoying as well as false advertising and wastes my time because I order based on what is in your description. I want a muti-purpose helmet with safety for bicycling, skateboarding, and snow sports, as promised in your description. It's frustrating to have to keep ordering and returning helmets because their descriptions are not accurate. Sizing chart is off as well.

Second to none!
My 4 year old finally figured out how to ride (without ever using training wheels) and wanted to reward him with a nice new helmet. I looked at quite a few helmets in person at a handful of local (San Francisco) bike shops and wasn't too impressed with what they had to offer.Found this one online, studied all the reviews, and took the leap and ordered it.What an awesome lid! Well made, fit beautifully with plenty of room for growth, and by far the best looking helmet on the market for kids. Absolutely love how the shell fits closer to his head.I promise, you're gonna love it.My son's first helmet was a Specialized Covert and that wasn't nearly as comfortable for him as this one.

The kids love the shark design and the visor (and I've gotten ...
This is the only helmet I've found that actually fits well, due to the adjustable strap. We've probably tried at least 6 different helmets, including the Nutcase, which is more expensive and did not fit well at all. The kids love the shark design and the visor (and I've gotten compliments from other moms at the playground as well). My boys are both 4, but with very different sized heads (and the helmet can be adjusted for both to fit perfectly; we started using these at about 3.5 yo, and will have room to grow for at least another year or two. I was starting to give up hope that we would ever find a helmet that fit, until we found this one - thank you Bern Nino!

... almost 2 yr old and this one was the best by far
I read all the reviews on many different helmets for my almost 2 yr old and this one was the best by far. It fits as expected and is not too bulky for my little's large head. The flip visor is removable which is great and the strap is full adjustable. I wanted something in a solid color and this worked out great!

Great fit for our 4yo
This is a great helmet! My 4yo son has a big head, and can't fit in the regular toddler helmets available at Target, and then tried the next bigger size for 5+yo, and that was too big and wobbled of his head. But this Bern helmet in size Junior S-M fits great! And the visor is very flexible, like a baseball cap. That wasn't clear to me in the description.

Best helmet you can buy
This helmet is soooo stylish and comfortable for my 3 year old. I debated between the two small sizes and went with the smallest and I'm glad I did! It fits perfect and still has room to grow. He has a normal size head. The helmet is light weight and has so much better protection then other toddler helmets that bubble up and sit on the top of the child's head leaving the forehead and back of head vulnerable. This helmet covers well and the cap visor is sooooooo rad and smart. It really keeps the sun out of his eyes and off his face! So glad we went with this helmet!!!!!!

Very disappointed...
I ordered the blue one for my 3-yr-old and had been looking forward to it as we got our son a new bike. Amazon prime was not available so it took a week to arrive. Long wait didn't prove it worth... When I opened it, it was a huge disappointment because the color is a lot deeper than shown in the picture. It is just a dull blue and the interior cushion for protection is cheaply made. For $40 I would expect better quality. It is also very sad they charge $5 shipping for return.

Great kids helmet
My kid is picky about his helmet. If it doesn't fit, itches, the strap bothers him, he'll cry. This one is great. he instantly forgets he's wearing it. As far as safety goes, it's great. Really, safety is all about fit and tightness. It's not a good helmet if it doesn't fit properly. If the chinstrap is too loose, it's not safe. So I like how he'll wear it when it's fitting properly.

So cool and awesome helmet!
When I searched the helmet for my son, this helmet popped into my eyes, I bet my my son will love it too, so I’ve chosen one with shark image for him, he did love it, good quality and vet comfortable to wear it, my son always wear it while he goes for a bike! Strong recommend!

Bit scratch
There is a bit scratch before using, but the design looks outstanding. I did not send it back as I does not want to waste of my time. A bit disappointed.

great helmets, no complaints when we ask them to wear them
Both my boys have these and we bought one for our niece as well. They are very comfortable helmets that keeps their heads warm and safe. we have had no complaints about asking them to wear them which is great. well worth the money

Nice. I'm not a boy but an adult.
I read some reviews on other sites about the Bern brand, and a lot of people had said the adult size made their heads look massive and had opted for a large child's size. I did the same and I'm not dissatisfied in anyway, saved myself a few quid to.

Well made, but poor advise about sizing on product website
Good well made helmet. However the advise on web site about size a bit off. It does not take into consideration the padding in the helmet. So will not fit my little one as long as I would like. Would buy again however.
