Silica is fine, but the nice foil bag holding them all will not re-close. The zip-bag feels closed, but is not. My bag was open with all the silica packs exposed to the moist air :(Bag employs the tiny-toothed zip-bag closure which can be impossible to re-close (zip).

Dry Eaze desiccant works really well on hearing aids. We live in Texas and my hearing devices are damp, if not wet, every evening when I take them off. My dryer takes a 50g desiccant package but I could not find any available so I hit on the idea of putting five or six of the small packages in the dryer. It worked perfectly. The dryer has a warning dot on the back that turns pink when it is no longer drying. It was pink when I put six of the small packages into the dryer. I added the hearing aids, closed the lid and turned it over. The dot was already blue to indicate that it was drying. Small, easy to handle and a great price. It doesn't get much better than that! Excellent value and they work great. The only problem I have with them is the resealable bag isn't. Had to get a Ziploc to store them in.

I use these inside the storage jars of pantry items which are sensitive to degradation due to humidity. They really help a lot. Anything I purchase in bulk ... from spices to supplements to baking ingredients get protection from these.When they seem to get a little “tired”, I run them through my dehydrator on a low cycle and they’re good as new.I’ve kept my pantry items fresh as well as snack items like dehydrated spiced banana chips that I’ve made that I want to keep really crisp with these. They’ve been a great investment in keeping foods that might have otherwise become solid clumps, or soggy stale candidates for the rubbish fresh and enjoyable for lengthily periods of time.

These work well to put in sealed cases of things you want to keep dry, but, are pretty small for anything medium sized. Need to use several. I will used these, but, move up to a larger size.

Great quality product. I cant get enough of these things. I use them everywhere from keeping dry goods dry in the kitchen to clothes in the wardrobe. Caught in the rain? Throw a couple of these in your soaked shoes overnight and they'll be dry in the morning. If you're like me and you store a lot of things in your basement or garage where it gets humid, throw these in your storage bins to make sure when you need your belongings, their not damp or worse, packed with mold. I used a couple different brands. These are made well. They're more durable than other surprisingly more expensive brands. Great product at a great price. Housewife Approved.

I initially ordered this because I dropped my phone in water. These little things saved my phone! This thing was a life saver! These are great for multiple things. I am using these packets for a bunch of items and areas around the home. I've stored in my storage boxes with my supplies, my shoe boxes, my linen closet and under the sink. These are great to keep away from moisture, to keep moisture out. These are superb.The item came in a nice and clean packaging, there is a cool humidity indicator which is pretty neat. Thought my bag didnt come with the humidity indicator, but The indicator was in the back of the bag.

Just received my pack of 50 5 gm silica gel packs. Arrived on time. Good packaging - the plastic bag has a re-sealable closure. Embedded deep inside are 1 medium sized clay dessicant pack, and 1 humidity indicator card with 6 dots (as described during ordering). Happy with my purchase. I knew going in that these were small gel packs. Those wanting larger ones should order 10 gm packs. Important to note that both silica and clay dessicants become less effective at higher temperatures (e.g. beyond 85 deg F). In fact they start releasing their moisture. Clay is best at lower temperatures e.g. Fridge.
