This book (and companion video) took my horsemanship to the next level. Monty is arguably the most important man in the history of learning how to communicate with—and earn the trust of—any horse. My success rate is now 100% thanks to this amazing man and the skills he shares.

This book is one of the most inspiring books I've ever read and I underlined profound wisdom on every page. I'm going to order many more copies to give to friends. Monty Roberts has coached executives of 200-300 US corporations teaching the executives to use the same methods he uses on horses with their employees---and they always return for more horse sense wisdom. This book is a treasure as is Monty Roberts!

One of the most inspirational and awesome book I have ever read. If everyone treated people like this gentlemen did, life on earth would be spectacular.

I would rate this book with 10 stars, if possible. Monty Roberts is living proof that we can overcome our "raising" and climb the highest mountain, despite disabilities. The knowledge he gained from studying horses and training them with love instead of force has transformed the world of horsemanship. He and his wife, Pat, have used the same process in raising about four dozen problem boys, and in Horse Sense for People, he tells us how to do the same with the folks in our own lives. I like Monty Roberts but this book could have used an edit. It was long on exhortatory prose, short on information. I do think what Roberts is doing is very important.

Monty Roberts is to me - and no doubt to thousands of others - the no 1 "Horse whisperer" around. I am happy to have met him, here in Sweden, and also having interviewed him on TV. We are the same age and I am also part of the "horse world" as it were.Now, in this book he widens the context to include parallells with the "human world", which makes this "horsebook" infinitely more interesting and attractive to a much, much larger readership. And Monty is "spot on" with humans as well!

I am still to get around to reading it but If its anything like the first book it will be great!

This is a great book written by an inspirational man. Everyone could learn from Monty Roberts horses and people would be better off.

It was a good book, but it didn't have the information I was looking for. I was looking for a book of his, that applies his knowledge to training horses.
