And a little curmudgeonly. You'll find yourself caring about her in the end. I'm really glad I have the entire series to binge watch. Warning: You will need a region free DVD player as it won't play on American players. desertcart sells them and they are very inexpensive. If you get a region free player, it will be the only one you need as it will play foreign and domestic DVD's. Too bad people don't read the directions before buying DVD's instead of blaming the disc for not playing. Sigh. Review: Fair price - DVDs worked in my new player. - Wife loves this show. No More Waiting For US versions of Vera
Seller from England did a great job getting this set of dvds to me un the USA. We love the Vera series and now we have it all. Be mindful that these DVDs are for Region 2 dvd players which are available in the US through Amazon

Great value for money

"VERA" complete series 1-14 DVD Box Set.
I waited for the complete series Box Set to be released and it is up to all my expectations. I would recommend it to all TV Crime series collectors. It is also a perfect gift for those like to watch TV Crime Series.

An outstanding series, really takes off after the first few episodes.
Quality British production, plenty of red herrings in every episode to keep you thinking. Found it quite drab and unappealing at first, difficult to get into the first few episodes but after that, wow, what an incredible series it has turned out to be. Absolutely top rate.
