Useful, easy to use, elegant Bluetooth scale.
For the price, this is a useful, easy to use, elegant scale. It offers weight, fat, hydration, muscle, bone, and bmi metrics. If you have an Android phone running Lollipop 5.1.1 and under, the included instructions make it easy to pair the scale, through Bluetooth, with the companion app. If you are using Marshmallow 6.0 like me, then you might have trouble pairing it if you don't turn on location. I had to do some research online, and found out that with Android 6.0, you have to turn on location in addition to Bluetooth to get the scale to pair with the app. It would have saved me some time if this was mentioned in the instructions. This is one of my two quibbles.Once you pair the scale and set your user profile, transferring the data to your phone is as easy as turning on Bluetooth and location, opening the app, and standing on the scale. The information will be transmitted automatically to the app. I find that I have to weigh myself a second time because for whatever reason the first reading is al ways two pounds over. This is my second quibble. The app itself, downloaded from Google play, is easy to use, although I would like to see a material design update sometime. You can delete entries transferred from the scale, see your progress in graphs, and pair the app with Google fit or a Fitbit account. You do have to create an account to use the app, and your metrics will be saved to the Weight Gurus website. You can also use the scale by itself without the app if you prefer that. The scale gives you a big and clear readout, and all the metrics rotate for at least three times before the scale shuts off automatically. The scale feels very solid, but is very light to pick up. The top has a nice glass finish, and looks very stylish. Overall, I would recommend this item to anyone looking for a sub $100 feature packed Bluetooth scale.

Excellent scale.
Love this scale so far. I did purchase this item via Amazon a couple weeks ago and wanted to wait until I had it for a couple of weeks before posting a review. I have 10 data sets so far and must say that weight has been remarkably consistent. Within a 1 to 1.5 pounds. It is very important to weigh yourself at a consistent time everyday. I always weigh myself first thing in the morning. My weight ranges so far have been: 144.4-143.6 this morning (May 27th). My body fat % has ranged from 11.1% on my first weigh in to 11.1% today (May 27). The low end of my BF% was 10.7% and high end was 11.6%. So biggest range of BF % has been 1.5%. I cannot speak to the complete accuracy of the scale itself but this particular scale has shown consistent results. Of course there will always be a range within a margin of error. All electronics have some precision ranges so I am happy with that. My bone mass, water % and muscle mass have all been very consistent. Ranges within a 1-2%. I find these results completely acceptable. Again, can't really speak to the actual accuracy of the scale when compared to other more expensive methods of progress monitoring, but I am very happy with the consistency of the results. If one wants a very accurate reading of body fat %, I think one must get a more detailed and expensive check up with a doctor or personal trainer. I use my scale as a guide and progress monitoring tool to look for trends. The scale was very easy for me to set up. go to their website: [...]. Enter product number 0375 and watch the intro video. There you can also find the user manual and the the ranges for weight, BMI, body mass%, muscle mass ranges etc. Also, many have commented on syncing issues. First I downloaded the weight gurus app on my iphone. Set up of the app was easy and did not take long. Then I turned on scale and followed the directions. Worked like a charm. I always make sure the actual weight gurus app is open and I can see the page on my actual phone. Then I step on the scale with my phone while the app is open. It records the data every time with no issues at all. I think the key is to make sure the actual app (weight gurus) is open. After the measurements are recorded, the data is sent directly to my apple health app, which I paired with the weight guru app. To do this I simply opened my apple health app, clicked on the sources icon on the bottom (looks like a heart) next to the health data and dashboard icons and it paired with no problems at all.So overall, I am very happy so far with my scale. I am 45 years old and have recently lost close to 60 pounds (well by recently I mean about a year or so but I did it my way and slowly.....more of a lifestyle change and a shift in my paradigm of thinking when it comes to food, rather than a diet per se). I have gone from 201.8 pounds to well 143.6 as of this morning. My body fat has decreased from about 27% to 11.1% as of this morning. I am very happy with my progress and now I use this scale to keep me on track. Good luck to all. And remember....try not to diet per se but make better choices when it comes to food. This method worked much much better for me!
