The Nature of the Chemical Bond: An Introduction to Modern Structural Chemistry
G**O
all chemists should have this -- and physicists too
just got it for a reference and to see what was known back then and what was going on in LP's mind. Presentation is very good but a few, not many, big time, scientists ( like LP) have a much better writing style. You will learn stuff you didn't know.

Great Book
Molecular structures explained in straight forward manner with clear examples. This was a good purchase for me and Linus Pauling is a master at making difficult material easy to comprehend.

Great book.
Great book. But it is good to be familiar with fundamentals of chemistry. It helped my understanding with more complex chemistry.

Linus Pauling's The Nature of the Chemical Bond
A rather small book, hardly more than a pamphlet. But this book was an important Chemical historical milestone. Good Book.

Very strange cover
The book is okay inside, however the cover is made of some strange, rubbery-feeling, sticky material. When it arrived, it was covered in shiny marks which looked like oil. I had to wipe it with a damp cloth to remove the marks. The cover attracts kind of dirt or moisture from hands or surface on which it is placed and looks quite bad (photo after cleaning). It does not look like a new book because of this. I have to wipe it again and then cover in plastic to prevent the cover from looking dirty. It is not a good cover material and not a professionally printed book. I would not purchase again
