Wireless RF TV Headphone

Sound Quality/Performance The wireless TV headphones provides decent stereo encompassing sound quality, especially considering at an entry-level price range. While the headphones are not noise cancelling, you are able to tune out the background conversations. This headset is especially suitable for hard hearing parents, teenagers enjoying late night gaming, and parents tuning out arguing children. Latency If the audio & video were not in sync the moment I turned on the 912 MHz headphones… This review would’ve been very short. Any noticeable gap in the audio/Video is equivalent to scratching fingernails down a chalkboard in my mind. I only encountered that annoyance a few times during my evaluation- not enough to be a deal breaker, however. Comfort/Design of the unit A dark black elastic band with super soft earpads gives a stylish look and fits snugly. Also, its adjustable band is both sturdy and lightweight, thus making it easily portable. It’s foldable design helps to keep it safely tucked away from little ones- four to be exact. The headphones rest upright on a charging hub. Side Note: * Make sure that headphones fit securely on the connections for recharging. Which seems to be accurate since I was able to binge watch roughly a season of “Game of Thrones” before recharging. Average charging time: 2-3 hrs for full charge. Range: The manual states it has a distance transmit signal of 50m/164ft range. I wanted to test it’s mobility by walking throughout the townhouse. I was able to walk around upstairs and outside on the front porch with minimal interference. Compatibility: *The headset works with several audio devices including: televisions, smartphones, laptops, set-top box, blu rays and desktops. Also, I tested a variety of tv, movies, sports,You Tube, etc… to see if were any noticeable differences in the audio/video- no noticeable difference 90% of the time. Additional notes It’s suggested to adjust volume to 50% to reduce static. The auto-scan feature ensures the strongest connection channel Overall Impression It’s mid-range price is worth the high quality yield. I believe that is you will find these headphones worth the investment, especially considering the top quality headphones would cost you anywhere from 2 to 2 ½ times the price for a slight difference in performance.

This is the second set of computer headphones I own, with both costing almost exactly $70, so I have a good comparison to make. One advantage of the Ansten headphones over the "Monodeal Digital Stereo Headsets" (by Artiste) is that the Ansten headphones have zero latency while the Monodeal have a slight delay of around 1 second before the sound begins to play while watching items like YouTube videos on my computer. Another advantage of the Ansten headphones (at least for me) is that they remain on even with no signal (provided the power button is depressed), while the Monodeal headphones turn themselves off if there is no signal after about 4 minutes. The distance range of the Ansten headphones is around 45' inside my house, which is greater than the Monodeal headphones (around 35'), but the Ansten headphones pick up static during that additional 10’ distance. The Ansten headphones have a volume adjustment that works well, but the headphones pick up a hiss on very high volume, although that high level is NOT required for normal listening. The Monodeal headphones have a richer sound for music when compared with the Ansten, but I use these headphones for listening to YouTube videos and other voice-only transmissions, and the Ansten headphones are fully competent for that purpose. In addition, both the Ansten and Monodeal headphones are extremely comfortable, even when wearing them for several hours. The Ansten headphone ear pieces fold for charging, so the base is more compact than the Monodeal headphones. The bottom line is that I purchased the Ansten headphones for use with a second computer in my house, but I am going to use them for my primary computer because its features are slightly more advantageous for my use. They are very nice headphones.

Headphones sound is great and is comfortable. it has a good range, I walk upstairs and still hear the sound. You need to make sure they are fit right charge station otherwise they will not be charged. Setup and connecting them is very easy. It is great to be able to watch and listen without disturbing others.

I had to buy a couple gadgets and adapters to get this hooked up to my TV. Now that I have it hooked up it works well, sounds good, but not loud enough to hear with a 10 lb dog barking in the room. It is very helpful when the wife is in bed and I am still up watching TV. Now I can enjoy my programs (can actually hear every word) and not get the dirty looks or "noise" from the other room.

My wife loves these headphones …not because she enjoys using them but because I enjoy using them while I watch TV and she reads. These headphones give me the ability to listen to TV, music or movies without disturbing anyone else in the house. The system is easy to set up. Essentially plug and play. The headphones automatically link up to the transmitter/charger dock by way of UHF Radio Frequency. Place the headphones in the dock while you’re not using them, and they automatically charge. The dock has a small footprint and looks nice sitting on the TV stand. The transmitter has an exceptionally long distance advertised at 165 feet. In my house I get some loss of sound quality at about 150 feet, around the corner two rooms away. It advertises low latency, but I have seen no lip/sound difference on any of the items I have plugged it into like my laptop, Blue-Ray player or cell phone (I get Dish Anywhere on my cell phone). This thing plugs into just about anything that has an audio out jack. I get about 24 hours of battery time on a charge and a nice feature is the auto shut off. At night I set my TV timer to automatically shut off and within 4 minutes of the TV shutting off the headphones shut off saving the battery’s. These headphones are light weight and very comfortable. The ear pads are soft and don’t rub my skin sore. Before purchasing these headphones be sure to read the description very good to ensure you understand what you are buying. These are not Bluetooth. Even though it’s very simple to set up I found it handy to read the instructions that came with the headphones to fully understand the plug ins and buttons. I feel certain you can buy these headphones with confidence!!!!

I was so excited when these came in the mail because I had read good reviews and wanted a good set for my husband. I loved the comfort of the actual headset! We hooked it up easily to our TV then guess what? The green light came on briefly indicating a charging status, then went out. We fiddled with this for a long time, and also the next day to re-read instructions to make sure it wasn't our fault. Nope, the this would not charge! I found the number to this supposed company "ANSTEN" and it just rings and rings. Then they send you a text saying sorry they missed your call and to call this other number.....I called that number as well and it was disconnected! Also, on the Amazon page which advertises this product showing all the specifications there is a link you can click on that says "user manual" I tried to download that and my antivirus program indicated that the link has either spyware, malware or some type of virus!!! No way would I ever recommend buying anything from this company.

Was looking for a wireless headset that I could use for my TV - this does an excellent job. First off - very well packaged. Everything came safe and sound. Also had the required RCA connectors that I need to hook up my TV's left and right audio output to the headphones. Setup was very easy and quick. On it's own it determined proper channel setup. What I like. Very comfortable. The earcups are large so they rest on my head around my ears, not on the ear itself. So many others sit on your ear cartilage and after a few minutes start hurting. These are very comfortable. Loud. I was surprised how loud and clear the headsets were even at 20 feet away from the TV while I was in a recliner. Many others lack volume. This is good. Reliability wise - we will have to see as I have only had them for a few days. Will update on reliability as time goes by. Highly recommend these headsets if looking for a wireless headphone for your TV.

I purchased these headphones for someone at my place of work. The first pair were broken within less than 30 days so I returned for a new pair thinking it must have been a fluke. The second pair broke, in the same place as the first, in less that 60 days. To late to return but I did get the lifetime warranty. Still waiting for my replacement pair.
