Subscription company uses credit card info for unauthorized fraud purchases I have RobinHood virtual credit card that was used only for this Subscription and it generated fraudulent charges to countries I have never been to. Dashcam losses signal often. When signal is lost the camera does not record offline. 4g connection subscription is separate from the cloud access subscription. Dashcam will not return to operation when cell signal returns or when battery voltage goes back up. You will need to unplug at OBD port to reset. Usb power cord or power switch on camera does not reset dashcam. No way to tell if dashcam has lost signal and stopped recording as the led signal indicators still showed signal light when it goes offline. The concept of this dashcam was great and the parking feature is better than all other dashcams out there. I purchased 5 of these to test out. Dashcams I have tested with 4g connection are: Owlcam, Raven Dashcam, Waylens 360 4g, Blackview w/4g module, Rexing, DDPai, 70Mai, Wolfbox, Nexar and ring dashcam

Best camera ever . No issues after 6 months of use . Still operating as usual. Pic quality not too good but than again I have a super quality dash cam that only records when it wants to . I prefer this one.

I bought the Focuway L7 because it says you can use your own SIM, but that’s not true. It worked 3 days, then stopped connecting to T‑Mobile and keeps rebooting. The app even shows a “no data” message pushing me to buy their plan. SIM and APN are correct. Please send a working replacement or refund. Update: The issue was not with the camera or the seller. My mobile line had been set up on the wrong type of plan (a special device plan instead of a regular cellular line with data). Because of that, the camera stopped connecting after a few days. Once I corrected the plan, the camera worked normally. My apologies for the earlier confusion — the seller provided the correct product.

Great camera for the price. The intro offer of 300MB will not last for more than a few weeks. So I was getting concerned at usage. But when I put in a SIM card from a tablet I was not using, it just worked. So I have a dashcam with remote view and GPS tracking that fits well under the SIM cards monthly budget of 1G data. So no monthly fees apart from what I already pay XM. Install kit came with the tools to hide the wiring and it plugs into the always on diagnostic port of a Rav4. The settings on the connector are not too clear, but seems like it has the intelligence to shut off on low battery condition. Lost one star since the app is not great. I need to sign in often which makes me worry that I may not get notifications when the app signs out. And getting GPS map view sometimes takes one or two tries before it loads.

More often than not you cant view a live feed. Also, the subscription for service and cloud storage aren't worth a dang. These are going in the trash where they belong. Dont waste your time or money.

I have always wanted a dash cam for safety and incidentals. This cam has a nice clear pic, a quality screen, and it was super easy to set up. The remote is an added bonus.

Quality is nice, but sometimes you need to connect multiple times to use the 4G commection. However for the price, you can't be at it.
