Great book to set you up for success. As the title leads you to believe, this is a book to get you started. It gives you the basics required so you can begin on the right path with a solid base. This business isn't just buying and selling, there is much more to it. That is the reason you see so many local small car lots come and go. The typos must have been fixed when it was updated in 2017. For $18, you can't go wrong. As he states, you can run a large car lot, or have a niche in specialty hard to find vehicles and maximize your profits. That is where the online buying and selling comes in. Definitely worth the money.

Good high-level overview of a car dealership business. Definitely some useful information. If you're thinking of getting into the business, it's certainly worthwhile.

Easy read, easy to follow, lots of useful info. Fifteen bucks well spent - get yourself a copy if you're going into the car business.

I got the feeling the book was written to simply fill pages between covers with only basic info, along with page after page of contacts for state secretary of states ( and other lists)...Most people can figure out how to conttact these agencies.This book is a waste of money!

This is a good book for those interested in getting into the auto industry, not much in depth but covers the basics well. A good read for newbies wanting to sell cars.
