Imagine John Yoko

i have over 50 major rock books but this one is exceptional. it annotates in great detail the Imagine album but it also gives deep insight to John & Yoko as people & thinkers over the 300 pages of detailed text from a myriad of professionals involved. the wealth of photos are well-selected and illuminate the text. Yoko definitely put her heart & soul in crafting this book. John would be proud.This book is a must buy for any Beatle or John fan.

This a quality book, filled with unique vintage photo's and loaded with personal accounts behind the making of Imagine. It has given me a fresh insight and appreciation of John and Yoko's love story; and of Yoko as a creative artist in her own right and her vast contributions to Imagine.

The book is more beautiful than I ever imagined! Be careful turning the pages though. Blue ink used on the edges of the paper sometimes leaked in between pages, sticking them together. A very light pull with fingertips was required to separate around fifteen pages. Otherwise, the book is gorgeous and I am ever so grateful to Yoko for the love and attention she devoted to its creation!

As a big fan of both Beatles and photography (and their intersection) this was a must-have. Now it's in competition for coffee-table space (or bookshelf) as it is big. Big, beautiful paper stock, lovely embellishment of the images with descriptions/back-stories. For sure very interesting for any hard-core Beatles &/or Lennon fan. Allow for space for it!

The book is nice. The cover was soiled, (not good for a book with a white cover) and some of the pages were stuck together in the corner but they came apart easily enough.

It's a beautiful book and is in excellent condition! It gives a wonderful insight into the heart and mind of John Lennon. As a fan of his work, I am thrilled with the book!

As with most things that came out after John's death, this is no different. His widow tends to change history to suit herself and basically sticks herself in places that maybe should not have been. The photos are good and that's bascially why I bought it.

John Lennon has always been #1. This collection offers some new and varied selections plus standards.What would the music world be without Imagine?

Achei maravilhoso. Muito bom e bem acabado.

Si farebbe prima a scrivere cosa non piace. A cominciare dal lato estetico: semplicemente perfetto. Steve Jobs curava nei minimi particolari anche le confezioni: qui sembra che lui ci abbia messo del suo. Copertina e rilegatura perfetti; bordi dei fogli che colorano il bordo di blu cielo con le nuvole. Impaginazione da libro d'arte con grafica ottima. Foto: tante, tantissime e sempre di ottima qualita'. I testi: beh non dico altro perché se no e' come raccontare ad un amico come finisce il giallo appena finito di leggere dopo avergli detto: "Ho letto un libro fantastico l'assassino e' ... il maggiordomo"
