Bee Adored Body Butter, Baby Powder, 8 Fluid Ounce

I generally prefer to just go with butters, such as Shea butter, but I decided to try this for a change of pace.I should have read the ingredient list first. It starts with water, never a good start. Naturally, under such conditions it won't absorb like an oil.I do love the scent, but I do believe I'll just go ahead and make my own butters next time I want something like this.

I purchased the velvet kiss body butter and just tried it for the first time today. I'm on the fence with the fragrance. It is very strong and I'm getting a lot of floral powder notes that I am not 100% certain I like for everyday wear. I decided not to reapply before bed because I think it will overwhelm me and get all over my bedding. I came back to see if I could mix this fragrance with another one to tone it down a bit. I like strong scents, but this is too floral, I think. I am considering mixing it with vanilla dreams.EDIT:After a few days I decided to mix this with half of my regular argan oil lotion so I could wear it to bed. I think cutting it back worked well to mute the fragrance, so I will be buying "Vanilla Dreams" and mix them together so I can have the full effect of this butter day and nighttime. Their formula seems to be very moisturizing and agrees with my skin, so I want to stay with the brand at full strength and not cut it with an inferior lotions. -I just want to tone down the floral-ness of the fragrance a bit. I am pleased with the product though, nothing negative to say.

This body butter works really well, my skin feels so soft after using it and you only need a little bit. But the smell is not very pleasant, I never smelled lavender or chamomile that smells like this. The only good thing is the scent doesn't last long. I may purchase again due to the way it makes my skin feel but it won't be this scent.

I am super impressed with this inexpensive body butter. I wonder why I have been spending oodles of money when this great product is available!!! Please!!Please!! don't raise the price because of great ratings!! I have purchased about all of the fragrances to find my personal favorite---I have to admit to being a fragrance junkie.....the lilac (whatever the 2nd word is..?) is not at all overpowering---and has a soft, alluring & nicely feminine fragrance. The Rice Flower & Shea is super nice as well. The Cougar is also surprisingly nice. I am pleased with all that I bought. And will keep these on hand....so nice to get about 6 jars of body butter---verses one jar---in comparing costs.....and actually love most of these fragrances---and body moisture are just as good ---if not better than the high dollar brands (which will remain nameless :0) Thank you Bee Adored & Amazon :0

This did not smell like vanilla very much. It has a powdery floral perfume scent which wasn't for me. However, the customer service is excellent! As soon as I arranged for a return, they refunded my CC and told me there was no need to return it. Thank you!

I truly don't usually take the time to review what I buy on Amazon. I'm typically happy with all my purchased but this stuff is incredible. I just got it last night, decided to just try it on my hands. It smells wonderful and lasts forever! Doesn't fade off like most fragrances. I could not wait to shower and use it all over. I then decided to check to see if they had a body spray. My lucky day, added that to cart so fast! Can't wait to get it. It is not overpowering, it's a light sweet scent of rose and whatever else is in it. I'm in love 💘 highly recommend for the price point too!

I always liked a lilac scent I got this and it does smell good. I had my son said whatever you have on it smells good!

Lilac is one of my favorite scents, but it can be hard to find. This product has the smell AND the thickness that helps dry skin out. I like it so much I had it delivered every month. However, the price suddenly went from around $9.00 to over $17. That's a bit steep. I don't know why the near-doubling of the price, but I'm disappointed because this stuff is exactly what I was looking for. But I can't justify the cost.
