This thing is definitely a strong magnet! I stuck it to a bridge and had to pry it off with a metal bar. My only complaint is the rope attached gets tangled up like crazy and is kind of a pain because it’s so thin. I’ve also thrown it farther than the length of the rope and had to walk in water to get it. If there was an attachment on the end of the rope to prevent it from being thrown too far that would be nice or just make the rope longer would work too

Magnet was strong was sticking to stuff but after the second throw out as I was pulling it back to paracord snapped so my suggestion is spend 16 on the loose magnet and buy your own rope. Update they replaced my magnet and rope with a stronger thicker one for free. Thank you guys.

Good strong pull. Great for a beginners mag. The paracord broke after I got the magnet hung up in some underwater brush.Luckily I was able to metal fish my magnet back. Yep the video is on my YouTube channel.

I gave it 3 stars on ease of removing ~~because it’s not so easy to remove but that’s a GOOD thing. Means it’s a very strong magnet. Only used once so far. Lots of fun. Snagged a Horseshoe so am optimistic things will be looking up!

The physical magnet broke from metal housing on 3rd use.... granted, we were not being overly gently with this productDidn't expect much more for price

The string is a hassle to handle and ties up into a mess quick ..The magnets good and powerful haven’t found nothing too exciting yet but I’m gonna keep fishing

This thing was awesome until the rope snapped and we lost it in the river. TriedTo go back during the summer and find it to retrieve. Never happened.

Bought this for my kid. He loves being outdoors and hanging out with his dad. This magnet is awesome. We've been out a ton this past summer. Caught plenty of things. Mostly garbage, buy hey, you'll never know when you get some treasure, right? Ha.Also good if you're kid loves the environment. When you go out "magnet fishing" i guarantee you'll find some batteries in the water. Makes you feel good inside a bit, getting that crap out of your drinking water
