Great Backpack
I recently decided to replace my aging backpack with the new MY ONYX Outdoor model.I wore it during a few hikes, and I am very pleased with the overall experience; I give it a full 5-star mark. In more detail:The backpack is made of high quality materials with heavy-duty zippers and feels strong and sturdy. It’s also very lightweight, which is an important feature for me. The MY ONYX has a curved back harness, which creates a gap between the backpack and my back — this gap allows proper ventilation and prevents back sweat, which was a problem in some previous backpacks I had used.Aesthetically, the MY ONYX has teal-gray colors and separate compartments for small items at the front and a larger compartment in the back, which also has a pocket for a supplied hydration pack (which can hold up to 2 liters of water). The hydration tube goes through a dedicated opening (marked “H2O”) and is kept in place by a special hook, with an easy to use tube near the mouthpiece. The hydration pouch has a wide and very convenient opening and an intuitive locking mechanism, which allows for easy filling, drying, and cleaning. The tube can be disconnected from the hydration pack, so there’s no need to remove it when cleaning or filling the pack. There are two dedicated external pouches for water bottles, if carrying more water is desired. There are many pockets on the backpack, and the one I like the most is located on the front straps, which hold a smartphone and provide easy access to it.The backpack straps are fully adjustable and can be tailored to fit the specifics of any physique. The backpack can store my hiking equipment (flashlight, batteries, lighter, gloves, rope, and a small towel) and any food I am carrying, while retaining enough leftover space for snacks. There are special straps for storing my hiking poles while I’m not using them.Overall, the MY ONYX is a well-designed and very functional backpack. I would recommend it to anyone, from novice to professional hikers alike!

Great value for money!
I purchased this backpack which is fairly new on the market because I liked what it said in the listing. I have to say I was not disappointed! The water bladder that comes with the backpack is of good quality (unlike the ones that are normally included with the purchase of a backpack) – the water is tasteless and odorless as advertised and I like the wide top filling and the fact that you can leave the water tube in place and just detach the bladder itself when having to refill it.The backpack itself has lots of compartments including loops for my walking sticks. Even though the internal frame takes a little from the space in the backpack, there was still enough room for all the gear I needed. The back support is good and the mesh panel prevents you from sweating.I definitely recommend this product and will probably purchase another one for my Dad’s birthday!

This backpack is a great companion for hiking and camping trips. These are my conclusions so far:1. The water doesn't taste plasticky, the water bladder is of good quality.2. It has good lumbar support.3. The mesh back panel repels sweat.4. Has plenty of pockets.Overall a solid choice for your money!

ONYX the BEST DAY HIKING and TRAVEL PACK EVER !
This pack is phenomenal, plain and simple. It is better quality than many day packs, however, the weight distribution with the contoured frame feels like you aren't carrying any weight at all. A LOT of thought was placed into this pack - from the compression straps for trekking poles/camera tripods/ etc, to the small hand pockets to easily access my I phone, granola bars, dog treats and snacks during hikes, it makes life easy for you. There is enough room inside to carry snacks, my camera, extra layers, my 2L water bladder, and much more on a long day hike here in Alabama I've never felt like my back was getting hot with the pack on, even on very hot/exposed day hikes, from the engineering in the back pouch the mesh back keeps me from over heating and sweating. I am extremely happy with this purchase, and I would encourage you to splurge on yourself and start enjoying long day hikes. Order your ONYX Outdoor pack and get super fast delivery.

Great support for the back and all the bells and whistles of larger backpack.
I have a bad back, so I finding the right pack that doesn't kill my back is a joy. This backpack was an excellent surprise for the price. It has all the bells and whistles of larger backpacks. There is nice structural support in the back with vent over top--giving breathing room to your back. At the top of the back, it looks like there is a Velcro adjust for shortening or lengthening the back vent. The shoulder straps and belt area are nice and wide. The belt has smaller pockets for a phone, keys of snack. My larger iPhone does not fit into it. The chest strap is moveable. There are all sorts of strap options: tie ins for a sleeping bag; straps above the shoulders to pull the bag further in if need be; Side straps to pull the weight in. Deep side pockets for drinks. H20 insert for water bladder and a front clip to hold the tube. There is one large and another medium compartment, with a smaller third at the very top for chap stick, money, etc. The overall weight of the bag is low. Oh, and if it wasn't already perfect, they added a rainfly. It comes out from the bottom, so it will cover a sleeping bag.I've used this pack for hiking, as a daypack while traveling in Europe (as the carry-on on the plane), and for general getting about the city. I like to walk to get groceries and do chores rather than drive. I've carried a computer in it and used it like a work pack. I'm tempted to see how minimally I could pack and use this for camping rather than my 62 L bag.At REI, they size me between a XS and S, but I think this pack will adjust out for larger sizes. Generally, I go through packs and chairs like candy. Both kill my back, so finding this quality of bag when I was just looking for a descent daypack was a wonderful surprise. Now I can enjoy my day in the mountains.
