High quality, maintenance-free, no wiring, no batteries. Requires to drill 2 holes through the door, 13/16" Diameter (.8125 inch - 2.06 CM), and 3/8" Diameter (.375 inch - .95 CM). (See the installation positioning paper template in the pictures above, for the size and location of the 2 holes. To drill the holes, the actual paper template goes on the door, and it shows exactly where to drill the holes). Before purchasing please make sure that any existing holes in the door won't interfere with the holes required to install this door chime. Designed to fit wood and steel doors up to 4-3/4" thick. Has a one way 145 degree wide angle viewing lens. The metal faceplate outside the door measures 5"H X 2"W. The white plastic cover inside the door has a spring activated sliding viewer. Has paper tags to write apartment identification numbers and names. Mounting and fastening hardware includes screws for wood doors, and self drilling screws for steel doors. (see the self drilling screws in the pictures above). Easy to follow instructions. Comes with a one year manufacturers warranty on all parts that cease to function due to normal wear and tear.
