The Theratherm heating pad is the BEST heating pad you can buy. I've tried so many, and am on my second Theratherm now. My first lasted 2.5 years (expected life is 3 years according to the manual), and for how much use it got, that is a LONG time. Absolutely worth the price.This thing cranks out the best moist heat, and gets really, REALLY hot. Be careful dialing in your temperature settings when you first try it, and start low because it is indeed possible for you to burn yourself if you aren't mindful of the settings. But don't be scared; the fact that it CAN get that hot is a GOOD thing.No heating pad has ever brought me comfort like this one. It's therapeutic, effective, and worth spending a bit extra for something that provides relief like this one.

This heating pad is used daily due to a chronic condition. I can't think of anything negative to say about this item. On the positive, I like the controls, and that you can control the temperature. The temperature can be raised above that of most other heating pads. It's bigger than most and better for the pain relief it gives for the chronic condition.

Quality product. Way better than any heating pad I have owned before. Heavy, feels durable. Pricy but worth it.

Loved this so much that I bought a second one for my son to use. He asked for it for Christmas! Love that it uses moist heat because it's better for healing and pain relief.

Worked great and was recommended by my therapist but after 15 months stopped working, displays a wrench with an E1 code. Called the manufacturer and they said it is not repaired and will not cover it after 1 yr. So definitely NOT worth the price I paid.

This product has gone through many issues. I've had six over the years, and it always ends with the product burning out, literally. The heat alarm start screeching and literally I think I caught it just in time. This new one (the product was off the market for a while), seems more sensible. The general heat is lower, but it's enough, the old heat was burn-you-fast if you didn't take care to deal with it. I love this one. We'll see.....

Awesome heating pad. Bought my first one about 15 years ago from my Chiropractor. It finally fell apart. The only heating pad I'd ever consider buying. It's pricey but the longevity far outweighs all of those cheapies that might last 10 minutes past the warranty period.
