This item will not, and simply would not, permit the Ninebot to calibrate. This handle is extremely poor fitting at the base, causing damage to the black plastic facing on the unit. It is a hazardous item, and beautifully packaged refined junk, including the poorest of instructions enclosed.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the handlebars and the ease of which they attach! Love the "snap on" feature of attachment. We got it even earlier than promised and was offered the options of contacting the company should we need assistance in assembly. No need for us! My only "concern" is the instructions were a little "off" on the English translation. We used to live in Taiwan (years ago) and many companies had trouble getting the Asian market to use English correctly on instructions. The company may want to find someone more fluent in the language of the intended receipient. Continue the GREAT quality and QA on your product! Oh, one more thing---company may want to consider doing an add on of a "signal device" (bicycle bell) so the operator can let pedestrians know they are approaching. Not a lot of money to add (wholesale would be just a couple of dollars, at the most) but a great add-on, safety wise.

It is exactly what this senior needed to feel safe. Highly recommend it for any active senior.

Not worth the money!But it does work!

I picked up my handlebar kit from the 9bot online store, but it is the same kit shown above. During assembly I discovered the pre-drilled and tapped screw holes on the aluminum handlebar bracket did not align with the holes on the top of my MiniPro's post. I had to egg out the post's holes using a drill bit in my portable drill to get the screws provided to all go through straight.The bag of screws had also come open inside the box it was shipped in and the small screws were hiding under and between pieces of the foam inserts. The cardboard box was very worn. There was one small lock washer I could find but no clue in the instructions as to whether they were to be used. If so I was missing 3. If not then why was there one in the box? There were also several assorted screws included that didn't appear to be needed during assembly.My handlebar also started squeaking as it was used. I solved that problem by rubbing some soap between the red plastic post attachment and the inside the bottom of the included post extender.Once on my MiniPro though it was as if I had a new/better machine. Where some bad sidewalk cracks and dipping curb cuts had previously forced me to step off the MiniPro I now am able to control it safely and roll right over. More pricey than it should be, but a welcome improvement to the performance of my ride.

Do not think twice about purchasing the handlebar for the MiniPro! It's well worth the money. Excellent stability and much easier to use than the knee control. It's also well made, the quality parts are equal to Segway quality. The customer service is top notch.IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure to re-calibrate your MiniPro after you install the handlebar OR you will find your MiniPro having a life of its own and will move uncontrollably. It's a very easy fix that takes only 15 seconds.

An excellent and logical addition to the minipro. Totally worth the extra money spent. Easy installation and great results. Feeling a lot more comfortable, safe, and balanced having a handlebar attached to my Minipro now! Definitely recommend.
