Straps are crooked. I didn't realize it u til after about 2 days or so when I wound up walking behind my son and saw his bag looking a little crooked. I checked the straps and they were even, but decided to loosen the side that was higher. After that didn't work I decided to check if there was anything in his bag creating more weight on one side, but there wasn't. When we get home I examine it more closely and the should straps were sewn on wrong on the top by the hand strap.I give it 2 stars because the quality of the fabric is great, but my son no longer uses the bag.

Only on its second week of kindergarten but my 5yo is small for his age and I needed a backpack that was not bigger than him but could fit all of his necessities. His take home folder (regular school sized), lunchbox, water bottle (20 oz contigo) and blanket (on fridays) all fit in this medium sized backpack. Perfect for kinder or preschool. I think it would definitely be too small for any grades higher than that, so I will pass it down to little brother when this one grows a bit and can have a regular sized backpack in first grade. It has two drink pockets on the outside, his 20 oz contigo bottle fits fine, most people pack a smaller bottle than that for younger kids. Just one area inside, no inner pockets or dividers. There is a zippered pouch pocket on outside and a flat zipper pocket above that.

Decent size for a 10 year old's school bag. It has a weird zipper on the back that doesn't seem to serve a purpose and stays zipped shut no matter which way the zipper goes so I'm unsure that that's all about? I'll research that but otherwise it's a great bag.EDITED 11/28/18... so we loved the backpack till the zipper broke about a month ago. This WAS 5 stars and lost 3 for breaking down after such a short time. 5th graders don't have a lot of heavy books so it definitely wasn't over filled with heavy stuff. Used only for school. Disappointed.

I got the 16 in. for my 3rd grader its clean, slim and simple which I love! It fits everything they need (1 in. binder, lunchbox, pencil box, sweater) and does have a bunch of excess material which I like. I also love that the drink holder is a solid piece of material and not the thin mesh material most backpacks have which usually break after the first month of school. There are a good amount of pockets if you need them (I don't like them for my kid since its more spots to hide extra junk or wrappers). Its very sturdy and I think it will last at least till middle school if not longer.

We love this backpack! It is a good size for my 2nd grader (*almost* too big but he is on the petite side) but it's a cool style that he loves. The zipper doesn't always zip smoothly, but its never broken or gotten caught (we have been using it about 2 months now). Would buy it again and recommend it to anyone.

Bought this for my 2nd grader. It surprised me, pleasantly. It has done great all year long. No tears, no breakage. Occasionally the zipper gets a little tricky, but not stuck. It's not huge, but fit everything including the large literature books. It has a good bit of pockets. All have been used a lot with no issues or tears. I would buy this again and again.

LOved the backpack when I got it. Then after one days use the outside fabrics came off of the zipper. I re seeed it and was fixable but it’s clear I seeed it and wish I didn’t have to. If the fabric didn’t separate it was the perfect backpack for what I needed.

I bought these for our trip to Disneyland. After 1 day 2 of the backpacks had already torn at the straps connecting to the backpack. The 3rd one was torn by the end of our 4 days in Disney. Now I’m too late to return and can’t grt in touch with the seller. I wouldn’t recommend these backpacks.
