Casita 10-Panel Round Screenhouse 3165 03165 Brown with Almond Roof Canopy

We purchased this to replace a screenhouse that had lasted many years. It fits perfectly on our deck shaded by 2 trees. We use it for outdoor entertaining and anytime we want to spend time outdoors without worrying about mosquitoes and other bugs.

I just purchased my second Kay Home Products Casita for my new backyard. The first is still standing at the home I recently sold. The buyer insisted that it be included in the sale (pictured here). After 4+ years of 365 exposure in Houston, TX I can report the following. The original roof lasted 3.5 years before a hail storm ripped a few holes in the material; $200 replaced it. This was not the first hailstorm it endured, but the first that damaged it. The structure has held up very well with just a couple of the rivets rusted and popped out, but the manufacturer has great service and will send replacement screws if repair is needed. Mine was installed directly to a wood deck and survived several storms and hurricane Harvey (though I would suggest removing the roof if severe weather is expected). For cold weather use, I wanted a propane fire pit inside. I purchased it separately and I added a heat reflector made from a giant metal mixing bowl and attached it to the ceiling with threaded rod. Works great!In summary, this is an excellent value when compared to other options for a permanent outdoor screened in area. I was quoted $5,000-$8,000 for a covered, screened, porch addition. This was a better option.
