The secret to the Covert Clutch Tactical Grip Sleeve's performace is a proprietary rubber compound that stretches over your pistol's grip to provide a comfortable texture, improved adhesion and shock absorption to increase shooting accuracy and speed. The hi-tech compound reacts to body heat to create a slightly tacky skin-like surface - even when wet - for superior firearm control and improved follow-up time on target. With a reversible hexagonal pattern, the Covert Clutch sleeve provides insulation for frigid winter mornings and grip for muggy summer afternoons - sweat on it and feel it work! The durable material has high resistance to tearing, sunlight, oils and solvents while being thin enough that the increase in grip size is barely perceptible - making Covert Clutch ideal for concealed carry. Fits Glock 19/23, Sig Sauer P229, Smith and Wesson M&P Shield and similar Compact Handguns. Available in Tactical Matte Black. MADE WITH PRIDE IN USA

Looks like inner tube. It's better than that.
This grip sleeve is very stretchy, goes on easily, and is an unobtrusive dull black color. At first this looks and feels like a piece of bicycle inner tube. It isn't. It is far better than that. It is smooth but with just a bit of moisture, like a sweaty hand, or a wet glove, it becomes very tacky. I put it on a Ruger 9e, a polymer gun. I can wear the pistol under concealment clothes and the Covert Clutch Tactical Grip Sleeve doesn't grab at my clothing. I noticed today that the grip has superior friction with fleece gloves, which the plain Ruger grip does not. It fits my 9e great. It is too large for my LC9s.To be honest the company offered me a free one if I wrote a review. Lets don't tell them that I would have bought a second one anyhow. It is a good product and half the price of the competitor. The offer of a freebie didn't change my opinion of the product, it only encouraged me to get off my butt and write this review.

I love the pistol but was not shooting it as well ...
I have been carrying a concealed pistol since the 60's. I recently purchased a Ruger LC9s 9mm pistol. I love the pistol but was not shooting it as well as possible. I looked at and tried several of the grip sleeves out there and ran across this Covert Clutch Tactical Grip Sleeve.Several of the other sleeves were too thick. This sleeve is thin but extremely tacky, just what I was looking for. Without the sleeve I was an average shot. With the Tactical Sleeve, I turned into a great shot with a great new pistol. What else can you ask for? Some of the reviewers are complaining about everything they can think of. We are talking about $8 here. If it does not work out for you, move on. I'm very happy with this Covert Product, I think you will be also. Jerry G.

Better than Hogue!
Great product for your Glock. Have one on my G-19 & G-26 Third Gen. Had to trim it for G-26, but easily done with scissors after soaking in hot water.Make sure you use hot water (from the tap) and soak both the wrap and bottom of the mag well to help with starting it as it is extremely tight. Once on, it makes a world of difference when the weapon gets wet or is damp from weather. And in Central & South Florida it is almost always humid or wet.Great product and have told multiple students and Officers to grab this one instead of the more known brands.

I like it , glad I bought it.
I bought this grip, because it was advertised as being thin, and tacky. They were right, the grip stretched very easily over my Glock 19 handle and made it feel like my hand stuck to the gun. This grip was easy to install, nothing like a bike inter tubes I've cut and used before, apparently the material used is not the same kind of rubber ? This is their latest or newest grip material and is a lot better in my opinion. There is very little handle size increase, since the grip is very thin. I think it will also help in felt recoil. I haven't shot my pistol with this on it yet , but it sure feels good.

Works as described
Fit well on my Taurus g2c took a little bit to get on and trimmed some off for magazine. Definitely feels better against skin in a iwb and feels good on the hands.

Simple and effective grip
Took a chance for a sub-compact and works. It needs some trimming to shape for the smaller handle and once installed (and I heated to make sure it shrinks) it feels very tactile without going through the stippling. The snake skin/hex pattern also adds to the function and aesthetics as a tactile grip. I say impressive.Highly recommended.

Mid to small size Grip
use it on Kimber 1911 style .380 micro 2.75 " barrel . take time working it on , used baby power at part when first slip on , the first one inch of grip , , heat of using hand friction helped it to go on , had some left past magazine butt , again worked to tuck under by rolling up n flip n tuck , didn't want to cut bottom of grip , I won't leave home with out it . made it Sooo much easier to control weapon , shame on Kimber for not having Hogue grip on weapon in first place , that's why needed this one , and liked style of grip , cool look , would buy again . will not fit full size 1911

Perfect fit for M&P 2.0 compact, that’s the 4” barrel.
Just purchased this for My 2.0 compact. It makes a world of difference for IWB and Apendix carry. Granted you lose the grittiness of the OEM grip but the sleeve makes it up in its tacky feel and comfort. If you’re going to carry in a duty holster, I do not recommend, only cause you’ll lose the benefit of the 2.0 type of grip. If you carry IWB, then I highly recommend.
