BRISTLEBOT KIT - 4 Pack - Educational STEM Building Kits for Kids

I was a little hesitant about the price, but it turned out to be a great purchase. We've made these in the past by gathering our own materials and also once tried a different kit. This was so much simpler. It was nice to have everything ready to go. No prep work. The quality is also great. We had some really excited Cub Scouts. ("Best den meeting ever!") I would definitely spring for the cost again. If you want to make bristle bots, this is the only way to go.Ease of assembly: 9-year-olds/3rd graders were able to do it with a little adult help. The hardest part for them seemed to be peeling the sticker back from the googly eyes (but that was an awesome touch, so it's worth it). They LOVED it.Quality/durability: the ones we have made in the past (NOT from this kit) have fallen apart and gone in the trash within a few hours. They are sort of fun for a little while (when they work), but they just don't last. In contrast to THIS KIT: the one my son made and brought home is still going strong, 2 weeks later. WIN!

The Bristlebots were too complicated for my students to assemble . No on/off switch and they were too small.

Impossible to balance. Once put together, all they do is spin in circles. Don’t waste your money!
