SmartGurlz Siggy Power - USB Rechargeable Li-po Battery

I understand why a rechargeable battery was not standard in this Siggy robot, the price would have gone up. After 2 days of nearly 6 hours of play, the robot died because her 9V battery was completely discharged. I got this very capable, rechargeable battery because rapidly recharging it for about 30 minutes after each play time is easy with my standard Android phone micro usb charger. Before the first time our first Siggy robot ran, i had to unscrew the cap with eyeglass Phillips head screwdrivers. That entire process, of fixing the 9V battery then unplugging it and re inserting a new one really took away from the fun of playtime. Now with this Siggy power usb charger its just plugging in for a few minutes so next playtime can be seamless. Well worth the price, but one minor observation, the connector is backwards so the wire to connect is super tight. For someone who doesn't buy this as part of the robot, it means a lot of 9V batteries running out, and possibly lesser contacts because of changing so often. For me this recharger keeps the robot fresh.

these batteries are needed for the SmartGurlz doll..

Siggys vehicle needs a lot of juice.The lithium battery is a much easier way to keep her running since there is a direct plug into the toy.This will pay for itself in a month

Worked great with my daughter’s Smartgurlz, and allows for easy charging when the battery runs out.

Disappointed, it doesn't work with iPhones. All the functions doesn't work.
