Better than expected, WORTH TRYING!
YES! SO GOOD!(Army green is totally true khakigreen/drab/army and the sole is chocolate brown, I normally wear a 9w/10 in womens and an 8 in mens tennis shoes. I bought these in both 9 and 10, 10 is perfect.)Ok i have the worst experience with flops but i love them. I have a wide foot and painful toes, heels, and weak painful ankles. My pinky toe always hangs off the sole and i swear my index toe does all the curling/bracing/hanging on hard work to hold my foot in when i step. I often find my foot fitting in it on an angle, like if i let my foot land naturally my heel would be in the ground -- NOT WITH THESE!I just got them today and havent even earned the bisters i for sure will get (and they'll be worth it!) But the sole is a thick foam not too squishy but soft AND LIGHT, the rope is soft but seemingly natural braided natural fibers that will likely cause the initial rubbing blisters, but because the fit is so secure and great i dont expect much shifting/rubbing. I CAN STEP MORE LIKE IM WEARING A TENNIS SHOE THAN A FLOP! Oh my gosh my heel stays in its proper place, the flop stays very close to my sole when i step, i dont feel my toes trying to force the flop to not fly off when i walk AND ITS WIDE ENOUGH FOR ME! Although my pinky toe may eventually find its way out i am giving that a resounding "who cares?!" because the best is soooo great.I just ordered 5 more, some duplicate colors and sizes for safe-keeping. This has been 3 years of searching for a flop to replace my beloved 15year old disintegrated pair. Soooo many sad-faced returns.****If you are older or have mobility trouble or pain these are worth trying!!!! My foot is more secure in them. I dont feel like a flip flop related ankle roll or trip or injury is as likely as with others, i feel like my footing is much more secure/sure, i feel like my mobility and pain level overall will be better because im not actively trying to walk in a flop that so desperately wants to be free from me, they are super lightweight... the only down-side i can see is what others have mentioned - you cannot slip into these. You are actively putting a shoe on. That might change over years as they get broken in, i had a similar pair in the 90s that eventually became slip-ons, but as they are today they require (me with my mobility issues) sitting in a chair and positioning them. At this time, even though i struggle with sciatica and sitting positions and arm extension and fingertip numbness and control - i am (in spirit, of course) jumping up and down inside. WORTH TRYING!

My favorite shows
They fit like a glove. The soles have great arch support. I walk 8-10 miles a day. For level ground in warm weather, these are my go-tos.

Try them! I think you'll like them!
I bought these flip flops because I was looking to replace another pair of Teva Olowahu's. I've worn Teva's for years & own many pair in many colors. I had never seen these Chitobae flip flops before & thought I'd give them a try after reading the reviews & seeing they were about $10 less per pair than Teva's. As other reviews have stated they are very comparable to Teva's. One complaint was that you couldn't just slide your foot into the sandal & the webbing needed to be adjusted. After a few days I've not had that experience. I'm able to slide my foot right in now. The sole is just as thick & comfy. The webbing though is not exactly the same. On one pair it rubs just a little so I'm not sure how they'd be on a long walk. The other pair the webbing just doesn't sit in the right place on my foot making it less comfortable. I've had neither one of these issues with my beloved Teva's & I'm hoping as I wear the Chitobse's more they'll "break in".All this being said they are very cute & I love the colors. I got the navy & the gray. The gray really is gray when you look close but reminds me of denim. Maybe because the sole is navy blue. I like them enough that I'm going to order at least the Raspberry color also. I wish they came in more colors! The very slight discomfort is worth it & I'm hoping that soon I can say I love them as much as my Teva's.

I love the style. Attractive but not too girly.

Exactly what I was looking for
I was specifically looking for a casual cute black sandal for the summer and I found these and the price was great. Less than $20. I’m pleased with the purchase.

Bought to replace the sandals I wore out
I thought these were like my previous sandals (bought from Kohl’s years ago). Uh no. I wish I could find my faves. There must be too many strap overs with this pair. I can’t just slip into them as if like. I have to reposition the straps and they’re still uncomfortable wearing them. Although I do like the colors.
