This is a good basic container that clips easily to a belt. It is too large to be discrete so if you want it only for small things like pills it may be too big. I use it as a "walking pharmacy" where I keep every conceivable medicine I could use plus spare cash and some smelling salts. It feels very good in the hand and seems to be durable construction. I have not checked to make sure it is waterproof but it does have a gasket that would make it appear at least resistant to water. The biggest downside to me is that the loop where you attach it is not rubberized at all. So if you are like me and attach it to a metal rather than plastic clamp, it will make a squeaking sound as the metal rubs on metal. This is preventable by buying a rubberized clip, but it would have been nice if the eye hole in the cap could have already been insulated to suppress the sounds.

Big enough to fill your fist, but not quite wide enough to accept a C battery. This will carry several large pills - at least 6, OR a whole stack of quarters.It's too big to conceal when dangling from your neck (unless you have breasts, or a coat). So make a lanyard and dangle it from a belt loop.There is a rubber O-ring to help seal it from rain, maybe not submersion though.It is metal, under the same slick black coating you might see on a tripod, which would probably chip easily if you rolled it on rough ground.Is it cast aluminum? Who knows. I bet it would deform if stepped on.Not really much of a cool factor here - it doesn't feel military grade.

Great Airtight and Waterproof Containers that hold matches, medicine and first aid items that you need to keep dry. It's easy to attach a thin line to the cap and secure them while you are canoeing etc. In one of the other reviews, I read that they were dirty inside when they went to use them. I decided to run a paper towel through them with some dish soap and noticed they were quite dirty inside. The paper towel was black. I cleaned them and they are fine now. I would buy them again because they are very well made. Would have been 5 stars if they were clean inside when they arrived.

First, this is definitely water and dust proof. Second, it is much larger than I expected. I thought it was about the size of a AA battery when it is actually closer to the size of a long C battery. I understand the dimensions are listed in the description but I couldn't visualize them very accurately.I took one star away because the interior is not cylindrical. Instead it is cylindrical at the opening, but as it goes towards the bottom one side is ramped inward. I assume this is true for all of these containers but I don't know that for sure and I really can't imagine why it is made this way.

These are great bottles, Let me first say I only gave it 4 stars instead of was because there was minor oil residue on the inside, i know it helps lube and protect the "O" Ring but i found these with the keyword "pill fob" as i due not like my pills to have oil of unknown origin on them. With all that said they are very sturdy feeling and have a nice o ring on them. i have no doubt that they will last. they are large enough to make a small fishing, or first aid combo with one of them, or keep matches and wicks in them. Great product!

Great capsule/cylinder for my use. Part of a weapon case/kit. Good size and easy to open, making they good for too many items to list. The weight is light and the only marking is "OUTDOOR EDC" in white letters on the very top. They have a rough design/finish on the outside. Again helps with on opening. Does feel almost unfinished. The threads are also rough. Both these are small items that I feel will get softened with use. Very solid product for the price.

Works great holds a ton of stuff. I wanted to keep some extra medication in a bag so if I leave the house without taking any I could once I finally remembered to: I was going to go with a less rugged solution, but after an accident that left the bag soaked I am very happy I got one of these capsules. It is a good size so don't expect to wear it as a necklace or keep it in a pant pocket. Feels really solid, and the threads feel great when screwing it on: really demonstrates how great the quality is.

This will work for my hiking kit. I needed something to hold my medicine that would be water resistant, and I think I found what I was looking for. I suppose you could put any small items that you wanted to in it (cash, matches, etc), but I haven't tried anything other than Ibuprofen. I would recommend this to anyone needing a decent capsule.
