Bought because it's the preferred lube according to Kimber. Seems good. The bore cleaner has a harsh chemical smell. But sure does clean with ease. Dispensing the lube in that type of bottle is kinda hard. Will probably pick up a needle noose bottle and transfer it into that. Overall, cleaned and lubed two handguns with this stuff twice, and they ran flawlessly.

Have had this for some time now. Don't recommend that anyone do this but I wanted to test this product to see how much stress on metal it really could take. I received this about 2 years ago and the first thing I did was scrubbed down my Kimber 1911 Stainless Steel Pro 2 Cary and applied FP-10 (one time). I then carried it for 1 year while going to the range off and on firing 2,000 rounds total over the 12 months without cleaning or wiping it down. I know...I know not good for the gun. Well after my last trip to the range I sat down at my dinning room table and prepared myself for a 3 hour cleaning session. I spent 30 mins. I took the gun apart and as I started to just wipe it off I found that all the carbon came right off with the terry cloth towel. So much so that it made a squeaking noise. I tore it all the way down and just wiped. 30 mins later I was putting it back together lubed with FP-10. No matter how many times I fired it during the 12 months it still responded as if I had just oiled it. I now use only FP-10 on all my firearms. I'm a true believer. I did use the rust prevent and it worked great. Most of the people that I shot with now purchase and use this product.

This three pack is the best addition to your cleaning kit if you happen to live in an high humidity/ coastal environment like myself. Every year all my guns get a deep clean along with 2 good layers of the rust spray on metal surfaces. Ever since I started using this stuff the minor surface scaling I would have to deal with when my collection was in long-term storage is non existent.

The "new" MC7" has a orange pink tinge to it. I buy this stuff by the gallon but get this blister pack for the little 4oz bottle to keep in my field cleaning kit, plano tackle box. The cleaner is dissolving the bottle I think as there are floaters in the solution that get on my cleaning patches. Going to have to find a small glass bottle for the bore cleaner. I go thru 4oz in about a week shooting every other day. The rust preventer is good stuff. That formula has changed over the years as well. Thicker and stickier now. I hardly ever use the FP10 lube as I think it is too thin. I usually give it away. I've been using these products for at least 35 years now and have tried all the johnny come latelys and this stuff still works the best for everyday use.
