Jurassic Mojave Beige Play Sand - 47 Pound Sandbox Sand

This was a Santa gift for my nephew. Great product and feels like real beach sand, but very expensive. It would be $800+ just to fill a normal sandbox, so we opted for 4 bags of this sand and 4 bags or regular sand, even thought it will all be mixed together. “Over the top” options for those without a budget.

I use this sand in the sandbox I bought for our back porch. My grandson and I play in it just about every time he comes over. He LOVES to play with dinosaurs in the sand. And little trucks. And sieves. Yes, the sand is expensive, but it's worth it.

Beautiful craft sand but I wouldn’t call it play sand because the sand sort of burns idk why???

Finally actual sand! It’s pricey but you get what you pay for. I tried the Home Depot/Lowe’s playsand and it’s just horrible and basically dirt. This is beach sand and a pleasure to play with. I don’t have to worry about my kids breathing in dust anymore!

I don't think this is the "real" Jurassic sand. I have real sand from the beach and ordered this one from amazon because I didn't feel like driving to the beach to get more. This is obviously different. It looks like sugar. It's not thin and soft like real sand.

I was skeptical about paying more for this sand. Sand is sand...right? I watched the sand test videos on the Jurassic Sand website and was still a tad skeptical since it is a good marketing tool but decided to give it a try. From the moment we dumped it in the little guy's sandbox, we could see the difference. This sand is so soft, clean, no lumps and no dust. We were impressed. Our little guy has a great time digging in it and dumping it on himself. There is a definite difference between sand from the home improvement store and this sand. I will recommend this sand for the little one's sandboxes. I will definitely buy this sand again.
