ACOPOWER100W Portable Solar Panel Kit (Expansion 100W) Black

This panel is very well constructed. The machined aluminum adjustable legs are well designed and secured to the frame. Using the legs fully extended gives the panel a good angle for the summer in the mid-latitudes. Flipping the panel over (so the connection boxes are on the bottom) puts the panel at a slightly steeper angle, better for the winter in mid-latitudes.Little details in construction impressed me. For example, there is a small piece of heat-shrink tubing where the positive and negative lead emerge from the cable sheath. Functionally, it makes little difference, but cosmetically I noticed and appreciated the extra effort. The handle, latches, and case are also very well done.This is a great portable panel, it will fit easily in the back of a small car. Pair it with AcoPower's charge controller or one of your own choosing and you'll have a very capable portable power source for your camping trip or tailgating party.

I have put my new ACOPOWER 100W Foldable Solar Panel Expansion Kit through multiple tests and am impressed by both the build quality and its performance. These panels are simple to set up and they stay put despite strong breezes which saves me a lot time throughout the day. I love the strong, retracting handle which makes it really easy to carry, and the carrying cover is good quality. This was a very-good purchase.

I purchased two of these. One with the charge controller, and one without. The one without only provides about half the amount of wattage than the other one. ACOPower is sending a new one so I’ll update the review when it arrives.The one that works provides around 70-75 watt in full sun during the winter. Sounds about right considering everything. Seems well built. Hopefully the replacement will work just as well

A great solar panel kit which is very easy to connect and disconnect. The fold up design, case/cover, and integrated stand makes this perfect for using almost anywhere. In full sun, these panels produce more power than I expected.
