Amazon Basics Tape Measure - 4.8 m et, Turquoise

I am well impressed with this retactable measure, it is a great length, numbers very clear in inches and millimetres and has a good width & weight to the measure i love the turquoise colour, this has replaced one that has just disappeared!!! I find the quality & ease of use with and without the locking mechanism very smooth & retracts with the slight touch of the button very fast. The build quality, readability and grip of the measure are fantastic and along with the very reasonable price, makes this a no brainer purchase. I fully recommend

Great Tape Measure, lovely Colour, brilliant because the tape stays out, so you can Measure Easily on Your Own. Rewinds easily, just press the button. Recommended

The Amazon Basics retractable tape measure is a solid, no-nonsense tool. The casing feels sturdy enough for everyday use, and the retracting mechanism is smooth and reliable. Measurements are easy to read, with a clear print that doesn’t fade quickly. It may not have the premium feel of higher-end brands, but for basic household tasks and DIY jobs, it’s dependable and great value for money.

I'm very pleased with my 4.8m Amazon Basics Tape Measure I didn't want to spend a lot on a tape and I was very surprised with this tape measure. It has everything on it like other more expensive tape measures

It measures up perfectly for my needs

I bought 2 different tapemeasures and this is the best by far. It is not heavy or chunky so is easy to handle. Unlike most metal tapemeasures I've used, where is glides freely unless you press a button or switch, this one is more like the soft round ones, where as you pull it out it automatically locks and won't let it retract. You can then pull it out more and it will keep some tension on so it doesn't snap back. Then once you want to retract the tape measure you push the button and it goes back in. Also it's an easy button to press and at a good angle, not a switch requiring a lot of force like some others I've used. I also like the different colours that stand out amongst the sea of other yellow metal tapemeasures. The only downside is that the strap is pretty flimsy and past experience says it liley won't survive long. Due to how it's built the strap isn't easy to replace, so I will have to thread a new one through once it breaks. Unlike other tapemeasures that often have a screw where the strap attached so it's easy to swap out. Overall it's a very good tapemeasures that requires very little force to opperate and at £4 I could not be happier.

Really great colour so stands out at work so I can recognise it's mine dies what it was it does. Brilliant price to would highly recommend

for the price, it's great.

引き出した状態のまま固定され、ボタンを押すとシュルシュルと戻っていくタイプ 日本のとは逆ですね。一長一短あるけどまぁ普通に使えるので気に入ってます

Perfecto buenas calidad

Nice quality & rate

This amazon basics tape measure is my favorite measuring tape!! 🥰 What I love the most about it.... When you pull it out, IT STAYS THERE!! It does not retract unless you WANT IT TO! This is the first tape measure I've ever owned like this. All of my other ones would quickly snap back inside the case if I let go or if it slipped from my grip. I also owned one that had a lock switch to hold the tape out until you slide the switch and let it retract. (that lock switch broke and stopped working) This tape has an easy button to press, you can retract the tape when you're ready with no surprises! 😁 I also love the color! It makes it easy to find amongst all my tools.👍 Another reviewer posted the measurements on this tape were not accurate.🤷‍♀️ The first thing I did when mine arrived was get my old tape measure and do a comparison. IT IS PERFECTLY PRECISE!! My old one is a Pro Maximum brand from C.Tire. So all I can determine from that persons review is either he received a dud from amazon or his 'Husky' brand is a dud? I could not even see 1/64 of a difference between both of my tapes. Can you?🤷‍♀️ This amazon tape is completely accurate in comparison to my Pro grade Maximum. I LOVE IT! 🥰👍
